A new friend but make that a mysterious one

So that night after Tiara saw the message pop up on the screen

*1 new message from guy I bumped into*

she immediately opened the message and immediately regretted thinking what if she looks desperate right now. Tiara quickly put those thoughts away and read the message.

Guy I bumped into : once again Tiara, my apologies for disturbing you this late I just wanted to ask if you needed help tomorrow morning as I remembered you saying I'm the only person you know here

me: hey Dong-min, thank you so much for asking omg you're such a life saver cause YES I NEED HELP I was just wondering what I'm gonna do tomorrow

Guy I bumped into : Great then I'll be infront of your hostel at 7am promise I won't be late

me: Great I'll be down at 7 and wont make u wait either

Guy I bumped into: Deal! See you tomorrow Tiara, I have alot to ask you but we have the entire day tomorrow so get sleep for now you'll need it especially in this college

me: Okay see you tomorrow then

Guy I bumped into: Goodnight :)

me: Night .

The following morning Tiara woke up at 5 am because she didn't want to be late and make Mr Guy She bumped into wait for her so she got up earlier than usual she was thinking to herself why she's even acting like this "it's not like im going on a date or something and i barely know the guy for like 1 day and hes just being helpful but why does he seem so familiar like I've seen him before " Tiara thought to herself but quickly brushed away those thoughts from her mind as she realised it's already 6:55 am and that she had to leave now. Tiara took her bag checked her makeup once more infront of the mirror and being content with how she looks she left the room.

As soon as Tiara reached Downstairs she saw Dong-Min already waiting for her. "did I make you wait too long" Tiara said "you didnt at all actually besides I just arrived 5min earlier it's still only 6:57 am rn so you're not late at all"Dong-Min replied "okay so what did you want to ask me" Tiara asked trying to look as calm as she could "Oh we will get on to that subject soon let's walk and talk?" he asked "Yes lets do that because I dont wanna be late my first day either that's gonna be a really bad impression of me on the teachers" tiara said.

As they started walking towards the campus tiara saw Dong-Min being nervous as if he wants to ask something but is nervous to talk." do you want to say something Mr nerdy looking guy that bumped into me?" Tiara Asked " Is that my nickname?" Dong-Min said while smiling " Yes it is actually" Tiara said teasingly " let's drop the formalities now and talk like normal humans and I wont eat you so stop being nervous" she said once again jokingly "wel I just wanted to ask if you want to be friends" Dong-Min said really shyly while tiara burst out laughing loudly " you're actually such a nerd you were seriously nervous just to ask that?!?!?" she asked still laughing "I guess I am actually a nerd who knows" Dong-Min said really softly but Tiara still overheard him " pardon?" she asked as she still kept laughing "Yahhh stop laughing" he yelled "Okay Okay I'm done laughing and yes let's be friends and to be honest even I was nervous to ask you as I didnt want you to think I'm like the type of girls who just use excuses to get closer to guys" Tiara said now calmly but in a serious tone " I wouldnt think you're like that because have you seen me? I'm a nerd why would anyone try to do that with a nerd" he said now laughing "everyone would" tiara whispered "Did you say something?" Dong-Min asked while watching her with a questioning expression "Me?No?Not at all I didnt say anything at all" Tiara replied sounding really suspicious "okayyy so now that we're friends you can call me EUNWOO but dont tell anyone that name of mine please" Dong-Min said looking really serious "why not what's with the name?" Tiara asked now really confused "N-nothing is wrong with it it's just a secret name I made up for only friends to call me and guess what you're the first close friend of mine here on campus" Dong-min said leaning closer to Tiara now "REALLY?!?!? I'm the first??? I feel so honoured I'm gonna try my best to be the greatest friend to you although I cant speak much Korean or wont be of much help here in korea"she said with the cutest smile but it somehow was melting his heart and he was just thinking to himself as to why he's feeling an attraction to her while he knows he shouldn't "what's wrong?"Tiara asked after noticing him staring at her for a long time now "Oh nothing at all I was just thinking tha...." He was saying as they got interrupted by 2 girls saying hi to Tiara

"HEY GIRLLLL" both the girls said to Tiara "Oh Hi mirae and Go-eun what are you guys doing here?" Tiara "asked oh we're just here to do the same thing as you. we're going to get our class list etc" Mirae said "but after seeing you here I guess you are not doing the same thing as us after all" Go-Eun said mockingly while looking at the guy standing infront of Tiara "YAHHH GO-EUN" tiara said with a embarrassed expression and tone "this is my friends Mr-...Lee-...uhm..eun..." Tiara said hesitantly as she was confused what name to introduce him as so seeing her struggle Dong-Min decided to introduce himself " hey I'm Lee Dong-Min...Tiara's friend" . "Just friend?" Go-Eun asked teasingly while mirae gave her a stern look and said " Hey Dong-Min we are Tiaras roommates it's nice to meet you"

After they all spoke for a bit Dong-Min decided to leave the ladies alone and let them do their things as Tiara had company now and he felt like she wouldnt need his help anymore so he said his goodbyes, Tiara tried to stop him but he said it's okay and that hes not leaving because of anything being weird or something but he just wants to leave the ladies alone for now and that he also had a few stuffs to handle and with all that being said he took his leave and walked away

Tiara kept looking at his direction while he was walking away hoping that her troublemaking roommates arent the ones that drove him away.After he completely left she turned to see both her roommates looking at her with a *whats going on* expression, so before they could question her she quickly said " There is nothing going on between us we just bumped into each other by accident yesterday while I was coming to the hostel and he helped me and as he was the only one I knew I had asked him for help this morning" After saying that she quickly suggested for them to hurry up and go get their class list before they are late and it creates a horrible impression on the teachers. After hearing that both of her roommates just ignored their questions for now and walked with her to go to the teachers room

Luckily Tiara, Mirae and Go-eun were just in time and the teachers were actually impressed that they were there on time as usually new students always turn up late with the excuse of they didnt know the way so after getting praised by the teacher for 30min they finally got their class list and left the teachers room. As soon as they left to looked to see their lists if they have any classes together and it turns out that they do have all class together except one class which Tiara only has

"wel that sucks I'll have to be in a class with only strangers" Tiara said "dont worry I'm sure you'll be fine and you might find someone sweet to keep u company"mirae said trying to console her "and if anyone tries to trouble you just tell me and I'll kick the sh*t out of them" Go-Eun said making all 3 of them laugh so then as Tiara was feeling a bit better after that the 3 girls decided to walk back to their hostel

When the 3 girls were walking to the hostel They suddenly saw a group of girls running towards the gate and following someone while that person was walking in as the 3 girls were trying to see who those girls are going all crazy about . When the girls were recklessly passing Tiara her phone fell out of her hand and as she was going to pick it up a guy kicked it away "WHO PUT THEIR DIRTY CELLPHONE HERE KNOWING IM COMING TO COLLEGE RIGHT NOW AND DONT LIKE THESE STUFFS BEING IN MY WAY" the guy yelled making everyone go quiet . Tiara was just shocked looking at her broken phone now but she wasnt the type to just quietly stand there so she stood up " How could you just kick someone's phone like that?!?! didnt your parents teach you manners or something because you just broke my phone and upto now instead of getting an apology you're just here yelling!* Tiara said in a calm tone but with a really serious expression

Seeing Tiara answer back the girls quickly went to her and in a whispering tone told her to not pick a fight with him as she doesnt know who he is.Now being annoyed Tiara asked loudly "Who even is he?" the guy angrily came upto Tiara Held her by her hair pulling it which made her head hurt while saying "I'm Seo Kang Joon how dare you!!! A mere middle class girl disrespect me like that and you seriously dont know who I am??? where did you come from a village?"
