CHAPTER EIGHTEEN Monday was Charlotte’s favourite day of the week in the bookshop. Well, apart from Saturdays, which were all about being busy and catching up with customers and spending time talking to the children who came in just to enjoy the little reading area. Mondays meant ordering books, replenishing shelves, and often creating a new window display. Much to her surprise, she’d slept well and woken before dawn.
