Kaiden and Leon sat across from me, watching me cautiously. Were they thinking I was going to kill myself or do something drastic? I scoffed. Killing myself would have actually been the easiest way out of this pain and suffering. But I’ve been sitting here, unmoving, my eyes fixed in a particular direction—the bed Aunt Hannah laid on.
