Jake

"You must be a dangerous person" Samantha tells me. She couldn't be any truer then that. I was an assassin for the Blood Moon pack, one of the most powerful packs in this part of North America. I have killed too many people to count but she doesn't have to know that. "Eh, not as dangerous as I look." I tell her with a smile so she thinks I'm just playing along. Goddess she smells amazing. I want to pull her to me and kiss her pink lips. The strawberry blonde streaks in her hair are really showing threw where the sun hits them. Making her look even brighter when she smiles. Her little dog however would not be okay with that. I don't feel like getting bit in the ass by a dog today. Shadow would laugh at me forever and so would Samantha once I won her over. "You don't look so dangerous to me." She tells me well she c***s her head slightly to the side. Her bangs swishing over, slightly covering up one of her blueish green eyes. I rock forward a little again, knowing my boundaries with Fin. "You just don't know me to well yet." I wink at her. "Yet?" She tells me. "I thought you were just stopping by to introduce yourself. Do you normally make it a routine to hang out with your neighbors?" I like her already. "I like to know who I'm living around. Plus you seem to be here alone." I tell her. Last night when she was out by her fire, I didn't smell a man around. Atleast not one from that day. Nothing fresh. "My husband works in the city." She tells me well leaning down to pick up Fin. He gladly jumps into her arms and snuggles up to her as he eyes me down still. Persistent little bugger. "We moved here a few weeks ago. Wanted to get away but he couldn't go remote like I can." "Thats a bummer. It must get lonely." I tell her. Hoping she says yes and that she'd love my company. We would be by her side every waking second if that's what it ment Shadow spoke up in my mind. I fully agree. She's perfect man. I tell him. We both fully feel this bond. We've felt it before but this was more. I never felt like this with Sarah. I never wanted to breathe the same as her nonstop. I had to do a roofing job this morning just to not come over here first thing. I made myself busy till I felt like it was a good time for me to come. I don't think I've ever gotten a roof done faster before in my life. " It can get lonely but that's why I have Fin here." She tells me as the dog licks her face and seems to smile at her then snaps back to full attention on me. Damn this dog is going to be a tough nut to crack. He has such a possessive behavior towards Sam. I don't blame him though but he's going to have to understand that she is MY mate and I will touch her when I please. Once I get her on board that is. "Well if you'd ever like my company, here's my card." I tell her as I pull my wallet out and hand her over my business card. "Call the Cell number and if I don't answer, just shoot me a text." Sam started blushing again and it was absolutely adorable to see. The pink tint against her porcelain white skin. She looked like a doll. "Sounds good. Thanks." She takes the card with the hand she was using to pet Fins back as he laid against her chest. Sam sets Fin down and tucks the card into her back pocket of her cut off shorts that made her legs go on for miles. The thick thighs going up to an hour glass curved frame body. Athletic tall build and just my type. Fin gave me a warning growl as I checked out Sam well she tucked the card away, her long hair fallen infront of her face so she can't see me. Fin can though and he was fully informing me of that. Sam let out a small high pitched whistle and Fin laid right down and set his head on the deck. It pierced my ears making my head flinch. What the f**k was that? I ask Shadow. The whistle you i***t. It's for commanding the dog. He laughs at me. Damn, gets my attention real fast. "What was that?" I ask her once she fixes her hair. "What?" She says well looking around. My ears finally stop ringing. "That noise you did." She then does it again, sending echos threw my ears. f**k. "That?" "Yes, that." I tell her well not trying to give away its effects on me. "Oh its a basic technique. I use different whistles for different things. I have." She let's a long high pitched whistle and my ears rung. " that ones for come. It for long range and the dogs really hear it." Fin is now standing right at her attention. "The one before is pretty much telling him to knock it off." "Well they seem to work." I tell her. "Instead of calling me, just let out the come here whistle and I'll head this way." I tease her. Not caring how corny I sound. A big smile spread across her face as she bites her bottom lip. "I'll keep that in mind but don't get offended if you come and I was just calling Fin inside." "I won't be offended because atleast I'll be able to see you." My mouth says before I could stop it but it was worth the pink tink that spread across her entire face as her eyes went big then back to normal. "Im sorry, I shouldn't of said that. Your married." Glad you apologized. We have to play this cool. Shadow reminds me. "No its totally okay, it's sweet to hear actually." She looked down when she spoke as if she was innocent or something. "Then maybe I'll let my mouth speak for me more often then." I tease her a little. I feel like she's someone that doesn't hear she's beautiful enough. Her husband is in the city which is over an hour away and she's here, alone with a dog. What would she do if something happened? If there was an emergency. Who makes sure she's okay? I didn't like this at all. Just then we both hear music suddenly blasting from her back yard. "I'm sorry but I have to go. I have a meeting with some investors that I need to talk to my staff about but it was really nice to meet you Jake." "I thought you were a dog trainer?" I ask her quickly as they backwards walk to the back of the house. "Im more than that." She tells me with a smile. "I can already tell you are. See you around Sam." I tell her as I watch her disappear around the deck waving goodbye to me. With my werewolf hearing I can hear the conversation she's having. It's about the a business she owns. Dog training, grooming and there's more but I don't want to seem like a creep ease dropping in on her business calls. So I jump in my truck and leave my mates house.
