The rehearsal goes okay… but of course, Liza gets upset when Tripp is being silly and messing around. I give her warning glances that she better not do this on the day of the actual wedding. After the rehearsal, we return to the manor for the party. The food is delicious and the white linen tents are thin enough to see the stars through. We are the center of attention for once, Liza does as she promises and is a quiet observer, even when she realized that some of the chair covers were cream, instead of white. But none of the really matters. Everyone in the village came, thankfully I have gotten to know most people the last few weeks while working and running errands with Vik. Then… the council showed up.
