The First Meeting - 2

Y“Miss Youra, my disciple thinks that your life might be in danger.” Jung Kook said.

“What danger? And why is that?” Youra asked curiously.

“Two nights ago, this young man heard a secret conversation in the middle of the night,” Jung Kook started to tells the story, “He heard 2 persons talked each other about k********g you, but he didn’t know who that was, at first he had told to the guards on that night but the guards didn’t believe what he said and he didn’t have any proof either. Actually, I don’t want to believe it, but it is better if we tell this to you so you can be more careful and not walking around in the city like this, Miss Youra.” Jung Kook finished his story.

“Umm… That’s pretty scary, anyway thank you for your caution, Mr. Jung Kook, but I believe if I can take care of myself.” Youra said in confidence.

“Sure, Miss Youra, I surely believe you are a bright girl, at your age, you almost passed the 2nd grade in Blue Hall, that’s magnificent, but it is always a good thing to be careful.” Jung Kook advised with his experience.

“Yes you’re right Mr. Jung Kook, thanks for the advice,” Youra said while she bows to Jung Kook to show her respect for Jung Kook's advice, “Thanks to you too, Jin.”

“Yes, Miss Youra, you’re welcome.” Jin replied.

Jin really impressed with Youra, not only a brilliant girl but she had good manners also. Jin pushed his feelings deep down in his heart because he knew that he is nothing compared to her.

“So, how about I treat you to eat that delicious roasted duck, Miss Youra?” Jung Kook offered her a meal while his hand pointing at a food stall.

“Sure, why not, my father also often brings that food home when he come back from the outside job,” Youra said, “And don’t get shocked if I eat a lot, haha.” She and Jung Kook laughed together, while Jin only smiles but his admiration towards Youra is increasing. He thinks that Youra is a very rare and special girl, she even didn’t hesitate to jest and laughed with other people without looking at their background.

The three of them eat the spicy roasted duck heartily, they eat while talking about anything. Youra knows how to treat an old man like Jung Kook, she never looked down on him even he is only an old chef. Jin admiration toward Youra increase more and more until the point that it makes his heart beating very fast every time she asked him about something, he start to get difficulties to hide his feeling and Jung Kook knows about this. With his old man experience he knows that Jin is admiring Youra, yet he doesn’t give Jin hope or take the hope down because he knows about Jin conditions, he will let Jin enjoy his feeling as long as he can, a feeling that he might never have any chance to confess it.

“So Jin, how did you become the disciple of Mr. Jung Kook? Are you his relatives? I think I never saw you before in the sect.” Youra asked.

“N..no Miss, I was not Mr. Jung Kook's relatives, he just picks me on the road and I followed him to the sect.” Jin told her the real story.

“Oh, I see, I’m sorry, Jin, I didn’t mean to mortify you,” Youra said, she looks regretting his question.

“Never mind about it Miss Youra, this boy here is a strong one, he never giving up on his life no matter how difficult his life was.” Jung Kook tried to cheers up the situation again.

“By the way, how did you went out from the sect and coming here alone, Miss Youra?” Jung Kook asked.

“This is actually a secret, but because I consider both of you as my friends, then I’ll tell you about this,” Miss Youra said, “I was often feeling so bored inside the sect, can you imagine that in my 10 years of living in this world, my parent only takes me outside the sect wall a few times, I even can count it with my finger.”

Jung Kook thoughts that Youra was having a perfect life before, but now he knows that she was not as happy as she looks.

“Such a brave young girl, she has the guts to do something she likes, but her father must be very angry if he knows about this.” Jung Kook thought.

“I know that you're a talented martial artist, but I think id it would be better if you don’t go alone, Miss Youra, it is dangerous out here. How about this, you just ask for your father's permission to go out with me and Jin? I regularly come to this town twice a month, maybe he will allow you to go out with us, at least you don’t have to go out alone like this, Jin can accompany you while I buy the food supplies.” Jung Kook said.

Youra seems happy to hear Jung Kook's idea, but she doesn’t know his father will give his permission or not.

“How if today you come back with us, I bring a horse here, you can ride it while we walk.” Jung Kook offered, he afraid if Youra gets into after he and Jin left.

“Thanks, Mr. Jung Kook, I can go back alone it is not too far anyway. Or like last time I hide in the merchant caravan who send some foods to the sect.” Youra explained, Jung Kook now understands how Youra can go back inside the sect without being noticed by the guards.

“Don’t worry about us Miss Youra, we were used to walking, just like when I met Jin for the first time, he and I walked from here until the sect.” Jung Kook said.

“Ah, I guess it was an interesting story, please tell me your first meeting with Jin, Mr. Jung Kook.” Youra asked.

“Well, you want to tell the story or I will tell it, Jin.” Jung Kok asked Jin.

“N…No, Sir, it's better you, Sir.” Jin replied.

“Hey, what makes you so nervous, Jin? Just relax, I won’t bite you.” Youra said after watching Jin’s awkwardness.

Jung Kook smiling, he can understand Jin’s feeling. Jung Kook then tells to Youra everything, how he and Jin met for the first time, about the people who beat Jin, and also about Jin’s who lost his memory, but he doesn't tell about the black devil curse. Youra listens to the story curiously.

“I don’t know if your life was very hard, Jin. Now, I regretting myself who often complaining about my life, I have everything that you don’t, my life should be perfect, yet I complaining too much.” Youra said in sadness.

“N…no Miss, I feel fine with my life, I g…grateful with my life because I can meet with Mr. Jung Kook, and now I… I can meet a beautiful girl like you, Miss Youra.” Jin said in awkwardness, and Jin’s last words make Youra’s face blush. Jung Kook smiling because he doesn’t think if Jin has the guts to tease Youra.

Youra doesn’t know why she feels happy after being praised by Jin, but she then controls herself again. she throws a punch to Jin’s shoulder, “Why are you still nervous like that?” She said.

“I…I am s…sorry, Miss Youra.” Jin still said in awkwardness.

“See, you still nervous again, did you eat any wrong food that makes you so nervous like that?” Youra asked again, she is happy to make fun of Jin’s awkwardness.

“Please don’t tease him again, Miss Youra. You can make him passed out.” Jung Kook said while smiling.

The sun has shifting to the west, a sign for them to go back to the Golden Flame. Youra finally accepting Jung Kook's offer to go back to the sect together but she doesn’t want to ride the horse, she prefers to walks together with Jung Kook and Jin.

They are walking while talking through the road, it’s like they already know each other for a long time. The road is quite big, it’s the main road which connecting Sinmu city, Golden Flame sect and Hawin City, usually, this road will full of travelers or merchants, but, now they don’t see anyone on the road. Not long after walks, they will enter the Deer Wells forest zone sooner, around 5000 steps of the road is inside this forest and after this forest, there will be vast rice fields before they entering the Golden Flame sect. area.

While walking Jung Kook tells a story about the legend of the Deer Wells forest, he says that this forest was called the Deer Wells because a long time ago there was an old forest hermit who was on his journey to find enlightenment, he arrived at this forest and saw a lot of thirsted deer’s who can’t get any waters because the river had dried for a long time. The hermit then created a well by stomping his feet on the ground, a lot of water comes out from the well and the deer’s started to drank from it. That’s why they called this forest Deer Wells Forest.

“That’s only a legend, right? How a water spring can be made by a foot stomp?” Youra asked curiously.

“I don’t know, that’s what my father said when I was a child. Nothing is impossible in this world my dear, there are a lot of mysteries that can't be explained.” Jung Kook answered.

Youra feels challenged, so many things that she doesn’t know in this world, she decided that one day she will adventure in this big world to look for those things by herself.
