**Chapter Two**

Alarm Clocks are going off. I hear screaming but I don't listen. I take the blanket and pull it over my head trying to block the world out my world. What I would not do to get five more minutes of sleep where I can dream about him. I don't know his name and i can't see his face but his eyes i can't forget his eyes, the eyes that see into my soul. I have never seen eyes like his there sky blue with waves of emerald green in them. I could get lost in his eyes and never wake up. I feel the blankets being snatched off me and I hear get up you b***h and make breakfast. I look at my sisters as they stand there and stare at me like they have nothing better to do but try to make me there slave. Brittany and Tiffany what did i ever do wrong for the moon gods to bless me with them as sisters. I ask that question everyday. Make it yourself. I know I will pay for that at school. They would not dare do it in the house where mom can smell the blood. The looks I get are priceless from them. They both just stare at me and walk out of the room smiling I can't figure out what is wrong they usually fight and argue with me throw fits till i do what they want.

I sit on the side of the bed and think about my dream guy again. I turn 18 today and it's the full moon tonight so i will get to turn for the first time with the pack. My sisters turned last year because they found their mates and once a she wolf finds her mate she can turn for the first time the moon goddess gives her the gift of the moon. If you have not found your mate by 18 you turn on your 18th birthday with the full moon high in the sky at almost Midnight. Only mom knows but i have been able to turn into my wolf since i was 10 years old. We don't know why she swears I found my mate. I say she is crazy. She says I came home from the pack park on the day i turned for the first time telling her stories about a boy my age who pushed me on the swings for hours and we laughed and played. I did not tell her that boy was the future alpha Lucifer's son Riddick. Maybe I should have.

I'm sitting on the side of the bed when I realize I'm gonna be late for school. I jump up and get dressed and run down the stairs in time to hear mom say ladies you need to learn to cook for yourself you have less than 2 months before your matting celebrations you will have your own homes and mates to cook for what then. I start to laugh imagining my sisters cooking. I come around the corner and say they will just burn the house down, mom. They shot me daggers, what's new. “ you know mom Riddick comes home today from boarding school right”. I stare at Tiffany like she has two heads. “ Tiffany we don't spread rumors in this house, what have I told you “. I shake my head as i hear Tiffany telling mom it's not a rumor Jake is gone be his beta so he was told last night. Jake is Tiffany's Mate. He is the sweetest guy, how he ended up with my evil sister. I don't understand. “Alright lady's time for school.” I walk to the front door as I'm pushed sideways by Brittany. Oops, sorry sis she says. I smile, and keep walking. All I can think about is Riddick. Is mom right? Is he my mate moon goddess please be with me today? I pray as I walk.
