“You want to watch this?” asked Pop with a grin. He left the show playing and gathered Cory into his lap. Cory loved it. He watched closely as the show played and clapped his hands often. Pop could not believe how fascinated Cory was with horses.
When Althea returned from shopping, He and Cory watched her put away her groceries.
He loved the horses,” said Pop after telling her about the building blocks and the cartoon show. “Jackson Harris has a riding stables outside of town,” mused Pop. “When Cory gets older, maybe we can arrange for Cory to have riding lessons.”
Cory looked at him with a big smile. It was like he knew what Pop was saying.
