“That i***t Lucius, why does he have to keep on embarrassing us at every turn. If you don't divorce him soon, your grandma might kick you out of the company soon!” Lucius' mother-in-law and Rachel's mother, Veronica, remarked in annoyance.
Rachel, who was seated beside her, replied. “If that happens, I'll just find another job.”
“What's your problem?” Veronica questioned. “Why are you so hellbent on staying with that good-for-nothing?... Just divorce him and marry someone else. Any other person would be better than that fool.”
“Your mom's right.” Jerome, Rachel's father added from the side. “If you marry one of the suitors grandma has picked for you, we'll finally be able to leave this dump.”
Rachel let out a sigh, aware of what her father was referring to.
Ever since her grandfather died and she refused to divorce Lucius, Lady Augustus had forced her and her family out of the family villa, making them stay in an ordinary two-bedroom bungalow.
“Look here, Rachel. Your grandma is only trying to do what's best for you.”
“Can you guys please stop?... I won't divorce Lucius.”
“You ungrateful child!... What did we do to have a daughter like you who won't listen!”
Letting out a sigh, Rachel left the sitting room for the bedroom.
It had been this way for years, almost like everyone couldn't see what she saw in Lucius.
Of course, she'd gotten tired of trying to make them see it.
Now, all she was interested in was doing her best and supporting him.
Realizing it was quite late, she took out her cellphone and tried to call Lucius but unfortunately, there was no response.

He was let off at a gas station but by this time, it was already nighttime.
After thanking the driver, he quickly made his way toward the ATM where he stood for a long time, contemplating his situation.
Everything that happened to him was still fresh in his memory.
The fact that he had survived the fall from the cliff was one thing, then recovering his sight even made it seem almost like a miracle.
He didn't consider himself a believer in the supernatural, but with so many weird things happening, he pondered if it was wise to entertain the notion that maybe it was real.
But… he called up the status screen and perused it once again, taking the time to study the account balance shown on the screen.
After taking a deep breath, he casually typed out a message on the screen.
[How do I withdraw the money from my account?]
He pressed send and thought to wait for some time only for the phone screen to light up as a message had arrived.
[A Black card has already been sent to your location. Please use the card to withdraw as much money as you need. Note though that you have a daily spending limit]
Lucius frowned. "A Black card?"
Suddenly, he felt something in his pocket prompting him to check only to find a sleek Black ATM card with no identification apart from a series of numbers.
Lucius gulped at the strange sight.
However, he quickly recovered before he moved to the ATM and inserted the card.
"If this is real…" he muttered as he directly punched in a sum.
{2,000,000}
Then he pushed the {withdraw} button.
Immediately, the sound of money being counted in the machine erupted and the next moment, Lucius was struck in the face by several dollar bills.
Once again… he was stunned.

It took Lucius some time to get himself together.
Looking around, he quickly discovered that no one had seen the incredible scene.
How could he explain that he was hit in the face with money?
Rubbing his sore nose, he checked the ground to find several dollar bills scattered about, each one a crisp 100.
If there was anything Lucius knew about ATMs it was that they mostly had a withdrawal limit of 50,000-100,000.
He punched in 2 million as a joke but who would have thought… no.
He slowly began to pick each bill, coming to the realization that the flip phone was legit.
It could give him money!... He was a f*****g billionaire!
Quickly calling up the status screen, he checked his balance.
More than 900 million was still left, proving without a doubt that the money currently scattered about was from the flip phone.
He shuddered at the thought.
Money translated to power in Westbrook which meant that currently… he was one of the most powerful men in the city.
Realizing this, he searched for a sack to pack the money in and after ensuring it was secure, planned to leave.
Just then, a message entered the flip phone.
[Congratulations, User has withdrawn 2 million.]
[For spending so much, the user has acquired outstanding business acumen]
[Current balance: 998,000,000]
[To further upgrade your level, endeavor to participate and complete system missions]
Lucius stared intently at the screen as he pondered something.
In his profile, it stated that he was Level 1, which meant there were other levels.
Just how much would he get if he reached the highest level?
The thought of it alone left him lightheaded for a moment.
Quickly regaining himself, he rushed toward the road and immediately caught a cab to take him into the city, but he didn't tell them to take him home.
Instead, he had to hurry over to the hospital to pay off the medical bills for Miss Granger.

On arrival at the hospital, Lucius quickly rushed over to the finance department to make a payment.
The cashier in charge was slightly skeptical but didn't stop him from attempting to pay.
Imagine her surprise when the transaction was completed and two million dollars was credited into the hospital's account.
“I hope the operation can start as soon as possible,” Lucius remarked, snapping her out of her daze.
The woman looked at him before slowly nodding, clearly struggling to understand how a man who couldn't afford a hundred grand not too long ago could pay such a huge sum.
