Chapter 21
Ashton POV I sat in a the middle of a calm meadow. The sun shining through the trees, birds chirping and other faint noises of the wild life around me. I took a deep breath and let the stillness surround me. And that's when I saw her. The beautiful wolf I had seen in my mind yesterday. Her eyes met mine. She watched me cautiously and inquisitively. Suddenly, the world around us grew dark. The noise of wild life silenced. A storm quickly blew in, disrupting our peace causing the wolf to flee. I quickly ran after her but her dark fur camouflaged her into the darkness of the storm. I tried to keep up but she was too fast. I lost her. I woke with a sudden jolt, my heart pounding in my chest. I glanced around, unsure of where I was. I calmed slightly when I saw I was still on the familiar
