CHAPTER 10 - JOIN FORCES

While the 2 families, Wilson and Smith's were busy talking and sharing about their children and personal expertise and interests. Sebastian and Theresa had their own world as they basically talk to each other in their own language.

As soon as their lunch ended, Mr. Smith and Mr. Wilson excused themselves and preceded to the study. While Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Smith headed to the garden to have some tea.

"Son, take care of Theresa. Show her around or you could bring her to the club house. We will be at the garden." Mrs. Smith instructed as Sebastian nodded.

"Theresa, mind your attitude okay? Don't be too nosy and talkative." Mrs. Wilson added making Theresa met her brows and cross her hands on her chest as a sign of disapproval.

"Mom! You are making me look bad here." Theresa retaliated making her mom laugh and Mrs. Smith joined.

But what they do not know was that Sebastian was just admiring and learning every detail of Theresa. In fact he finds her annoyed face very admirable.

Not wanting for Theresa to become un easy Sebastian answered back.

"Don't worry auntie, it's good to have someone like Theresa come along and tag with me. It never gets boring." Sebastian spoke as she glanced at Theresa who was blushing and smiling at him

As the headed to the club house Sebastian can't help but notice how lovely Theresa looked. Though both have known each other for some time already but, this is the first time he ever got up close and personal with her.

She had long brown straight hair, her eyes were deep light brown, she had rosy cheeks that was very visible in her delicate skin and her smile- her smile always sweeps him off his feet.

Just as the 2 arrived, Theresa can't help but notice the vast variety of activities they have.

"You know all of these?" Theresa asked in amazement as she pointed at it all. They have, game room with all sorts of arcade games and a pool table as well just beside the gym. A mini size olympic pool, basketball and a tennis court.

"As in everything?" Sebastian asked in confusion as he look aroun and Theresa nodded.

"Well, not really. I know a little though. This is actually more of my little brother's space, I am more of a book kind of guy." Sebastian answered honestly as he laughed faintly while scratching the back of his head. "But you know, I can try to learn if you like. I am a pretty quick learner." He added as Theresa laughed.

Sebastian got nervous with Theresa's reaction. "Oh great! i just humiliated myself big time!" He though angrily to himself.

Sebastian knew Theresa likes sports and is very adventorous, a total opposite of him who prefers indoors and the thought of it frightens him since she might stay away from him because of that. But Sebastian was determined- determined to learn and be a better person, for Theresa.

"I can teach you if you like, I may not be good but I sort of know how it works and in return you can help me with some of my subjects."

"Subjects? Why? You are a top student, I mean- you were even accelerated." Sebastian asked with a confused tone, but Theresa only smiled.

"I know, but- reading is really not my thing. I am more of a listening and observing type of person. So after class, a tutor comes to our house and re-teaches me. That's how I learn. But it would be nice if you could teach me more about economics. My tutor flops at economics." Theresa answered as she laughed as Sebastian joined him laughing as well.

"I am impressed you are able to juggle both social activities and studies. But, okay I can teach you that. In case you have questions just let me know then."

"Well, it's not like you are not trained to be like that. I mean with a family like ours, sleep and rest is like a leisure." Theresa paused as she laughed faintly but Sebastian was quick to notice a hint of sadness in Theresa when she said that as he saw the short sigh Theresa let out.

But before he can say something, Theresa was quick to change her mood and added.

"So, do we have a deal?" Theresa asked as Sebastian smiled and nodded. "Great! let's go." Theresa added as she hel Sebastian's hand and tugged her towards the game room.

The 2 1st played with some play station games. Thereasa was very quick and direct in teaching Sebastian the basic and luckily Sebastian was indeed quick to understand.

At first Theresa was winning multiple times, but Sebastian was able to catch up with her pace and eventually won as well. He thought that Theresa would be annoyed for losing, but instead he was amazed and shock when she clapped her hands and felt very happy that Sebastian won.

But what Sebastian did not know right away was how competitive Theresa was. As Sebastian started winning on the other games, Theresa caught up with this pace and focused herself on the game.

Midway, Sebastian could not help it anymore and started to laugh as Theresa paused and looked at him.

"I'm sorry, but I just find you too adorable while playing games. I mean- though I have never played with anyone else except you but somehow I feel like you are very competitive."

Theresa laughed and answered. "Really? I'm sorry. I just- you know, get too caught up sometimes." Theresa paused as she laughed faintly. "Don't worry we can always play next time, if we have time." Theresa added as Sebastian smiled and nodded.

The 2 continued to play a bit longer as they chatted in between, just getting to know each other more. But soon it was finally time for Theresa to leave.

As they neared the mansion Sebastian asked if he could invite Theresa to go out the next day.

In fact he does not have any plans at all, and did not even know where to bring her. He just felt the need that he wanted to see her more often before he will leave, and to his surprise Theresa agreed without hesitation.

While Theresa stayed with her mom and Mrs. Smith, Sebastian headed to the study to inform Mr. Wilson that there are going to leave already.

Just as Sebastian arrived, he noticed that the door was half opened and that the 2 powerful businessmen were talking about something very serious.

But as Sebastian was about to knock, he suddenly heard his dad mention about a wedding. Curious about who is getting married Sebastian decided to eavesdrop a little.

"You know Sam, a wedding is quiet a big thing." Mr. Smith answered as he smiled.

"I know, but I am not talking about now William. Maybe someday. When they will get their degree." Mr. Wilson added.

"Honestly, I have nothing against it. In fact I am glad you asked me, because I was meaning to ask you about that as well. Since it would be good for both of our companies. But, does your wife know about all these?" Mr. Smith asked worriedly.

"The other one yes, but about the marriage arrangement- not yet. But I am sure she will not have anything against it. Sebastian is a good son and I know he will be great to my daughter."

"Yes, of the 2 son's I have Sebastian is the most responsible. He will be a great asset to our company as well." Mr. Smith answered.

But outside the study, Sebastian who was eaves dropping had his heart beat fast at what he was hearing. He get very confuse on what was happening as he caressed his brows and massaged his temples while he leaned on the wall.

"Mr. Wilson's daughter? But they only have one and that is Theresa. But dad mentioned my name and not Wyatt. I will be marrying Theresa?" Sebastian thought as he felt his heat beat faster while he laughed faintly.

"But what is the rush? I mean I like Theresa, but I want her to like me and not to force her? Damn it! Why am I worrying this now? I am not even sure yet." Sebastian added in his thoughts, but deep down inside he too wanted to be with Theresa and no one else.

Ever since he met Theresa a lot had change in his life, she brought colors to it and brightens his life. They might have just got acquainted well now, but it seems like he has known her heart for a very long time already.

Soon, Theresa and her family finally bid farewell to the Smith's.

As Theresa waved a last goodbye with her sweet smile to Sebastian as she got in their car, he felt very warm in his heart. He knew, she was partially his already with the agreement their fathers had.

"I will earn that love the proper way and acquire your heart soon and that is a promise I will surely make. My Theresa."
