CHAPTER 11 - BIG PINK BEAR

Days went by quickly as Theresa and Sebastian got along pretty well. On the days prior to him leaving, with that short period of time they were able to make a bond that can also be seen on friends that have known each other

For a long time. In fact on those days, both Sebastian and Theresa did not able to spend time with their best friends, Rupert and Cindy.

The 2 manage to do things they wanted to do in a short period of time. Thanks to Theresa’s outgoing and adventurous nature and Sebastian’s good time management.

The 2 went camping, a first time activity Sebastian had. Though they were surrounded and guarded by their bodyguards on the camping site owned by the Wilson’s, but somehow Sebastian enjoyed it a lot as he was able to see the true beauty of Theresa’s attitude.

Some days they went malling and Theresa had appreciated Sebastian’s patience and being very observant towards her. And Sebastian felt very good, since he felt he was on the right track.

But on top of that they were able to achieve what they have been meaning and wanting to do, and that is to spend time together and know each other.

On the day prior to Sebastian’s flight, Theresa requested that instead of doing the thing she wanted, they do the thing he wanted to do.

Sebastian is not known to be a romantic person, in fact he was aloft and an introvert. But with Theresa, it seemed he had an exception.

He basically does not have anything special in mind, in fact if he was to decided what he wanted to do he would automatically choose going to the library. But since this is his last day in Nation A, he planned out something that would be memorable for him and hopefully for Theresa as well.

So on that day, Sebastian picked up Theresa in their mansion very early in the morning.

Just as he arrived, Theresa and her mom was patiently waiting in the grand lobby of their main house. Sebastian took the initiative to drive his car this time while his guard and Theresa’s will follow close by.

It was still dark, but Sebastian can already see the glowing Theresa. In his eyes everything turns blur except for her.

Just as he parked his car on the driveway, and got off Theresa then came down the steps.

“Hi! Good morning.” Theresa spoke as she waved as Sebastian smiled at her.

He then looked at Mrs. Wilson and spoke. “Good morning auntie. Thank you for allowing me to take Theresa out this early in the morning.”

In fact Eve was hesitant at first especially with Theresa’s young age even if they know Sebastian’s family and his good background. But with what her father, Sam, explained to his wife and his current situation, she could not argue anymore and instead agree.

“I know, you will take care of her. Right?” Mrs. Wilson’s answered and smiled at Sebastian as she held Theresa’s hand.

“Of course Auntie, I will.” Sebastian assured her.

Soon Theresa bid farewell to her mom as Sebastian opened the car door for her. Just as he closed the door, just before he got to his side, Sebastian walked over to Theresa’s mom and handed her a note.

“Auntie, those are the places I plan to bring Theresa and the time I plan we stay there. Thank you for allowing her.”

Daisy then got the note and read through it and smile at Sebastian. “Thank you for doing this Sebastian, I really appreciate it.” Mrs. Wilson spoke and paused as she held Sebastian’s hand tight. “I am not sure if your dad have told you, but your Uncle Sam told me last night. I know you are a responsible person, but please if you ever agree to it- as in an agreement from the bottom of your heart, please take care of our daughter okay? Try to win her Sebastian, because by the looks of it you are on the right path already.” Mrs. Wilson added.

Sebastian was lost for words, in fact he did not know what to say. His dad has not even mentioned anything to him, if he did not eaves drop he won’t even understand what Mrs. Wilson was saying. But he was indeed determined to win Theresa’s heart.

As he was about to say something, Mrs. Wilson tapped his shoulders and pushed him to go.

“You 2 better head off now, if you want to finish this list.” Mrs. Wilson teased making Sebastian nod in agreement.

Soon Sebastian finally got in his car and slowly drove off.

“So, where are you taking me this early?” Theresa asked curiously.

“You will see in a while. It’s not far from here though.” Sebastian answered as he glanced at Theresa who just smiled and nodded at him.

It was still a bit dark when they arrive at the 1st location. It was at a private beach resort with fine white sand and a beautiful shore line.

“Why are we here?” Theresa asked curiously as she laughed faintly. “It’s too early to take a dip at the beach you know.”

“I know, but you will know in a while.” Sebastian answered as he held Theresa’s hand and guided her towards the beach line.

Their guards are very well trained and knows when they are needed to be close and when they needed to step back. This time since everything has been secured, they decided to stay behind and become their shadow from a far, giving them enough privacy.

As soon as they arrive by the sandy beach, Theresa suggested to go barefoot in which he agreed willingly.

“You know, it’s better to walk this way than with shoes or slippers on. You can actually feel the warmth of the sand.” Theresa suddenly spoke as she pulled Sebastian going towards the shore.

“Hey! Slow down you might get hurt.”

“Even if I will, it won’t matter as long as I enjoyed the moment. No regrets.” Theresa answered as she run towards the shore.

“You always amazes me Theresa. You look so delicate and fine but in reality you are one strong and adventurous woman. I’m very impressed.” Sebastian remarked as he finally caught up with Theresa.

Theresa did not answer right away and instead continued to walk along the shoreline.

“Well, some things are just not what they seem. I mean just like you, i have been meaning to be friends with you ever since we were little but your invisible wall keeps coming in the way- i mean I feel like you are too far, someone who can’t be reached, arrogant and alike. I always thought that’s the reason why your classmates didn’t like you. But as I knew you better you are not any of those things at all.” Theresa added as she laughed faintly.

“I was trained to be like that. That is what dad had told me to do, to be. So people can’t take me for granted, I just did not realized that it ended up them bullying me because of it.” Sebastian answered laughing.

But what Theresa did not know is that Sebastian only acted that way towards her and no one else aside from his mother.

Soon the sun started to rise. Sebastian then grabbed Theresa’s hand who was walking ahead of her, as she paused and slowly looked back at Sebastian.

The moment Theresa’s eyes landed on him.

“Look” Sebastian spoke as she pointed to where the sun was rising.

Theresa was in awe the moment she looked at it, it was beautifully perfect. As the sound of the waves kept crashing nearby. It calmed her soul and her heart, keeping it steady and afloat.

Just as he thought that Theresa would let go of his hand, instead she held it as well, while she was admiring the sunrise in front of them. And Sebastian on the other hand, couldn’t help but admire more the beauty right beside him as he held Theresa’s hand tight.

After the sunrise, the 2 then headed to the open restaurant and hand their breakfast that was pre-set and prepared by Sebastian and Theresa was very happy to see that Sebastian had remembered every food she wanted.

They enjoyed their breakfast a little bit more and soon headed to their next destination.

For their next stop is something that Theresa least expected. It was in an amusement park that Theresa loved the most, but this time there were other people besides them and it was not closed down for her.

“Uhmm-“

But before Theresa can finish talking, Sebastian spoke.

“This is actually my 1st time here, and I know you wanted to experience going in with other people so I was able to get your dad’s approval to have the place on 50% capacity on the condition our guards stay close by.” Sebastian explained quickly and gave Theresa some clothes to change into.

Since Theresa had been wearing her sneakers already, she then changed from her sunny dress to some jeans and a character print shirt. Paired with a baseball cap and shades.

As soon as she finished changing, she got off the car as Sebastian was patiently waiting for her.

To Sebastian’s surprise, he was very mesmerized by her simplicity. “I feel like anything will fit her perfectly. She still looks so stunning.” Sebastian thought admirably to his self.

“It seems you really planned this well Sebastian. We have matching shirts!” Theresa spoke as she pointed at their shirts.

“Oh! I just thought of it randomly, I’m sorry if you did not like it.”

“Silly! I like it!” Theresa answered as she pulled Sebastian towards the entrance. “Let’s go, there a lot of fun rides inside!”

Soon the 2 together with their civilian bodyguards were already inside.

They have VIP passes, so they basically can get in front of the line if they wanted and since the amusement park is in 50% capacity only so there were only a few people around. But instead Theresa suggested it would be best they stay in line so not to let the people pay too much attention on them.

“But you’ll get tired, I mean the sun is way up already and we won’t be able to ride all the rides here.” Sebastian retaliated feeling worried.

“Don’t worry, I will be fine. Besides let’s just enjoy whatever rides we can ride and come back some other time to try the others.” Theresa answered calmly as she tugged Sebastian towards the bump cars.

The 2 then rode some rides, they choose 2 rides each they wanted to try and lined up like ordinary couple. After they went to the arcade to play some amusement park games.

Theresa then chose a shooting game, as she wanted to win the big pink bear. But after so many failed attempts she finally gave up the idea, when suddenly Sebastian who was just observing her stepped in.

“Let me try.”

Theresa then looked up at Sebastian who was over a foot taller than her and gave her a confused look.

After just 1 try, Sebastian won the big pink bear and happily handed it to Theresa.

“For me? But you were the one who won it. I mean you could have chosen other bears.”

“I know, but you like that better. Have it as a remembrance instead.” Sebastian answered with a smile.

With glimmered eyes like a kid rewarded with something she has been wanting to have Theresa spoke. “Really?? Awwwe- thank you Sebastian!” As she hugged the bear tight.

“I won it for you and yet you are hugging the bear instead of me.” Sebastian thought playfully to himself as he smiled at Theresa.

The 2 then roam around for a while as they grabbed some snacks and ice cream. Theresa was at her happiest and Sebastian saw all of it.
