** A few weeks later **

The past few weeks have been absolute bliss. For the first time in a long time, or perhaps even ever, I feel content again. I feel safe here. And I feel I’m getting back to my normal self again. Having Maxim and Millie both around has done wonders for my mental health as well. They are both so incredibly awesome. And there has been no word from blood moon whatsoever, much to my relief.
I have resumed my training again as well. It was rough at first, but I am getting back into shape nicely. Mom has been settling in OK as well. She had lived at blood moon her entire life, so it took some getting used to living here for her.
