Athena POV
Having reached the door to his office, the warrior speaks up for the first time since the woods. “Alpha will see you now”.
The door opens, and mom and I step in. I squeeze her hand in a reassuring manner, while I glance around the room. Besides Alpha Menno, his beta Bilal and Maxim are here as well. Glancing at Maxim, I can tell he is nervous. The Alpha isn’t giving anything away, though.
