“s**t, Mills, it’s you”. I clutch my chest.
“Who else would it have been? Maxim?”. Jealousy seeps into her tone, and I can’t stop a laugh from slipping out.
I f*cking knew it. I knew she liked him, but she has never admitted as much. Let’s see if I can push her far enough to finally break.
