Everyone knows me as a good girl from a good home with good grades and good manners my name is Sasha Anderson, and for long as I can remember, people have always described me in that way . my teachers love me because I was hardworking and very respectful and also my parents loved me because I really got into trouble From the outside my life looked perfect, but there was something people didn't know about me and that was being terrible at making friends it wasn't that I hated people I just never knew how to approach them. whenever I saw group of girls laughing I would wonder what it felt like to have friends who actually wanted me around my parents noticed it too "Sasha you can't spend all your time in your room"my mother would always tell me. she always said that I needed to socialize and I would always smell and promise that I will try Then everything changed when my family relocated to a new city. My father had gotten a major opportunity that required us to move, and we didn't few weeks everything I knew was packed into boxes. my old school, my familiar surroundings and few people that I knew were all behind me on the first morning at my new school I stood in front of the mirror, adjusting my school uniform"you are going to be fine"I whisper to myself, but my stomach was filled with nervous butterflies. when I arrived at school everything felt unfamiliar. student worked past me in groups laughing and talking as though they had known each other forever. I just work through the hallway quietly holding my books against my chest and following the directions I have been given and eventually I found my classroom I stood outside before walking in. The moment I entered several students looked at me and I was so nervous I quickly walked down to the teachers desk "excuse me ma'm "I said softly"I'm New here" the teacher looked up and smiled""you must be Sasha Anderson"I nodded Then she welcome me and ask me to take an empty seat, before I left I think her They were actually few empty seats so I chose one by the window. I quietly sat down and simply arrange my books in my locker. not too long after I settle down the bell was wrong and a teacher worked into the class to begin her lessons I made sure I paid absolute attention in the. the teacher threw some questions which I was able to make an attempt to answer and to be honest I got them all right while I was answering the questions I noticed some students turned around looking towards my direction in a puzzled manner wondering how I got those questions correctly well during recess everyone seem to have somewhere going some girls gathered around their friends boys joke with one another and some students left the classroom while I remained at my desk I just pretended to be busy arranging my books even though they looked clearly arranged. then I looked around the classroom but no one seem to be interested in talking to me then for a moment I remembered my old school where I was also struggling to make friends "maybe I'm just meant to have no friends"I said to myself I just lowered my head and honestly that thought scared me more and more. the first day was really lonely for me why do I have to be alone all the time why don't I have friends
