Ritchie had assumed that Moreau had shared her sense of urgency. They had to stop whatever the Berwegers were about to do. So she was more than a little annoyed to find Moreau grabbing her arm and pulling her to a complete stop in the middle of the very end of the main hallway. "They went this way," Ritchie said, and started to run again, making for the cross-corridor to the right. "I know, but look," Moreau said, pointing to the left. That hallway was nothing but storage rooms, rooms that Ritchie had half-assumed were never used. But one of the doors stood open. "They can"t be in there.
