XV chapter

AFTER SOME TIME

AT ADAM'S POW:

I finally reached the main building. It is an old building and it was made of all of the sector bricks. It is looking like a test ceremony. It also has the same star and it seems a bit weird.

-I think it's time for us to choose our future.-I said.

-You are right about it.-Kim said and nodded.

-I have finally seen you here, Adam. I hope that you are ready.-Noah said.

-I am ready.-I said and smiled.

I saw how my other classmates gathered close to the main entrance. I saw that colidor is marked in each the colors. It was five and I was quite surprised and came to the color gray. BK was brown, GIM red, BCIF was white, TTV was gray and TAM was green one. I noticed that students from other schools got the same uniforms with empty color star on them.

-My name is Kora. I am going to explain the selection ceremony to all of you. You have to walk through your section colidor and it will take you all to the main hall. You see seats marked in your section color, so sit there.-She said.

I nodded and started walking in the hall direction. I saw how one student tried to get through the other door section and failed. It seems that somehow the door knows from what kind of section we came from. It is kinda cool and confusing at the same time.

-It seems that they have got a protective shield. It is kinda cool.-I muttered.

I noticed that no kids from the purple section were there. It seems that they can go to school on their part, but somehow they are not allowed at the choosing ceremony. I mean these kids must take this to another place.

-Exactly like the blue section.-I muttered and went through the TTV section door.

When I sat down on my seat, and just at this moment I realized how big this place was. It would fit a few of our athletic halls, so it is quite impressive. I soon saw a woman with TTV section clothes walking into the middle of the hall and getting the microphone. I think that she is going to explain to us how this procedure will work..

-All of you can see this middle metal over in the middle of the hall and five different colored pencils with section symbols. I understand that it might look confusing. When we call your name, you will come here and choose your preferred section. After that, you will heat this end of the pencil and press it to your wrist and a mark with your section symbol and star mark appears on your wrist. After some work in your chosen section, you will have almost the same thing again and then you will have one colored tattoo on your shoulder If you think that it will burn your hand, but it won't.-She said.

A few minutes into the event, a woman came in front of everyone. She had short hair but they were colored by all of the sections hair colors. To my surprise she even had some purple color on. I think that is how she shows how all of the important sections are to her.

-Good evening, everyone. Today you will choose your wanted section. Remember, knowledge is more important than life but not as important as a family!-She shouted and other people repeated her words.

-It is time to begin.-Another person said.

After that, they started calling people depending on their surname. I saw how they called Violet and I saw how she hesitated between BK and TTV sections, but she chose TTV in the end. I kept watching and knew that my turn was coming closer.

-Adam.-A woman said and I stood up from my chair. I got up and walked to the middle of the hall. I see how everyone started looking at me. I know that I must choose the future section of my life. I still haven't honestly decided on it. I know that I must make the right choice and at the final moment I decide on my choice.

-Can I have another minute?-I asked.

-Of course.-Woman said and I nodded.

I walked to my own thing and I looked at it confused. I know that I must choose it now, so I am kinda getting scared to choose it. In the end, I decided to go to the Bk section. My brother is there and he is going to help me no matter what. I put a pen with the BK symbol on the furnace and I pressed it closer to my wrist. I hear a sound and for a moment I think that everyone is acting because of my choice. I suddenly hear a screen and see people coming in inside from a PURPLE section.

I hear a bomb falling down. I see even more people coming closer. Before I lose consciousness, I think about Caroline and what I am going to do without seeing her one last time.
