XVII chapter

AT THE SAME TIME

AT ADAM'S POW:

We kept walking up stairs until we reached the bottom floor. I knew that I was inside of the cell, so it was not a surprise to me. I wanted to make sure that I was not in danger, so I kept following them until we reached the door.

- We are at a corner of town?-I asked when I saw a recognizable view through the window.

-You are, but please be quiet, nobody likes loud people here.-Caroline said.

-I am not loud.-I said, but I started to speak in a more quiet tone.

We kept walking until I saw some people walking closer to us.

-Who is he?-One of the men asked.

-He is Adam. He is Dom's brother.-Caroline said.

-What is he doing here?-Another person said.

-He came here because he chose the BK section and his skill could be useful for us.-Another man said.

-I know him.-Nr 8 said that.

- I know that you saved me in that simulation.-I said.

-You did what?-Man said.

-You know that you are not allowed to mess with a simulation.-Another man said.

-What did he do to you?-Caroline asked.

-He helped to defeat one of the parts in that simulation.-I said.

-What exactly do you mean by that?-One of them asked.

-He was attacked by one of the people there and I saved him.- Nr. 8 said and smiled.

-We saved each other.-I said.

I saw how others looked at me and nodded. I saw how they all started walking in one direction and I had no other choice, but to follow them. They took me to another room where I saw things that needed to be for their lives there.

-That is important here.-A man said and smiled.

-What are we doing here?-I asked.

-We are going to test your skills and staying. If you are worth it, it staying here.-A man said.

I see how he walks to the corner and turns on a light. I saw a chair with a weird looking hat appearing in front of me. It looks kinda weird, so I have no idea what the use of this item is for them.

-It is another simulation. It is made to make sure that you suit to stay here. It is not horrible and if your brother told us the truth about you, you should pass it without any problems.-A man said.

-I understand.

I walked closer to that chair and started to look around it. So they also have a computer and stuff to make sure nobody is going to cheat it. It is indeed smart, but I need somehow to find a way from then not to know that I am from the ITO section. mean I spelled that right, but I hope that everything is alright.

-Sit down and I will get everything ready.-A man said.

I sat down on a chair and looked at Dom.

-Everything be okay, brother.-Dom said and gave a supportive look.

I nodded and felt how he got everything ready.

-We began at 3..2...1.-That was the last thing I heard. I closed my eyes and the simulation began.

I see how everything gets darker around me and then I notice how people starts walking closer to me. I look around and I recognize that I am in a rajon and that everything here is almost broken. I saw broken windows, doors, glass all over the place. I have no idea what might have happened here, but I do not like it.

-Adam.-I heard someone saying my name.

-We know what you did.-Another voice said it.

I started to get confused, since I did not understand what was going on.

-We know what you have done to us.-Another voice said.

I heard some steps getting closer to me and I started to get nervous.

-We are no more important to you.-Another voice said.

I started hearing a loud sound and soon after, a lot of people fell on the ground dead. I had no idea how to hear these words, since I did not understand what was going on.

-What the- -I said.

I see how a man started walking closer to me and I see how he points a g*n at me. It takes me a bit to finally recognize him.

-B-rother.-I start.

-Don't call me that, you are no longer my brother!-I heard him shouting.

I manage to move my head in time and then I see even more people walking closer to me. I also see how Caroline walks closer to me and that makes me even more worried.

-Caroline.-I whisper.

-You.killed.everyone.- How could you.-Caroline said with a mad voice.

I saw how she pointed the g*n at me and I tried to move and tried it from my face. I suddenly feel pain and then I fall to the ground, unconscious.

Last thing I heard is..

-You killed all of us! How could you, Adam?!-I heard a voice familiar to Caroline's.

-I haven't done it.

It was my last thought before I lost consciousness.
