AFTER SOME TIME

AT THIRD PERSON'S POW:

After a few days, Adam got even more worried about Caroline. He hadn't seen her for a few days and that made him really worried. The day before the dance, Adam got news from the teacher that made his mood drop even more.

-Hello, students. All of you know that we are having a dance tomorrow. I was hoping that we would have a happy day, but I have got some important news to tell you all. Caroline left this school and town.-Teacher said.

- Finally. I am happy to hear that. Since Caroline left you can finally become my boyfriend.-Violet said.

- You have never been more important than Caroline to me. She is always going to be my love, and I am going to find her.-Adam said.

-I do not think so.-Violet said and laughed a bit.

When the class bell rang, Adam got up and left the classroom. He was in no mood for listening to Violet.

Next day, at the dance, Adam was all alone. He was in no mood to dance with anyone. He quickly talked a bit to his friends and left home. He decided to talk to his brother, who was the only one understanding him at that moment.

-Hey, Dom.-Adam said.

-Hi, brother. What happened?-Dom asked.

-Caroline left something without telling me anything.-Adam said.

-You are worried about her, are you?-Dom said.

-I am.-Adam said and sighed.

-We can meet at our cafe and talk about it tomorrow.-Dom said.

-What time?-Adam asked.

-At three pm.-Dom said.

-I need to know if maybe someone saw her from your section.-Adam said.

-I am going to tell you about it when we meet. See you tomorrow.-Dom said and hung up the phone.

-See you tomorrow.-Adam said and hung up the phone.

He sat on the bed and smiled. He seemed to be happy to have a big brother who understood him.

NEXT DAY

AT ADAM'S POW:

I was sitting in our cafe and waiting for Dom. He was late for ten minutes and that was unusual for him. It took about ten more minutes until I saw him walking into the cafe, wearing a BK uniform. All of the people inside of the cafe seemed to be pretty confused about what the person from the section was doing there.

-Hey, brother.-Dom said.

-Hi, brother.-I said.-You are late.

-How are you?-Dom asked.

-Not good. I miss her a lot.-I said.

-I have some good news for you.-Dom said.

-What news?-I asked.

-Some of my people saw her heading towards a small wooden house.-Dom said.

-Where is exactly that house?-I asked.

-Close to the city's gate.-Dom said.

-You know that people must keep about a kilometer from that spot.-I said.

-I know, but I was sure if you went there, you would find her.-Dom said.

-I want to go there.-I said.

-You can not go there just like that. The town got a BK section protection in all of those places.-Dom said,

-I understand that, but I want to see her.-I said.

I stood up from the chair and looked at him mad. How does he not understand that I miss her a lot?

-I take care of everything. I have a friend there, so he can tell me information about her. You need to get ready for exams and keep father calm. Both of us know what could happen if he is mad.-Dom said.

-Bye Dom.-I said and paid for my drink before leaving.

I left home and I still had no idea what Caroline needed in a place like that.

Time kept passing at school and everyone forgot conversations at the dance. All of my classmates started getting ready for exams, and I started listening to more and more of my father's lectures. I think that he was trying to piss me off lately. After school, I walked on a further road home and I saw a few BK section people arguing about something. It was kinda weird knowing that in this section people are mostly calm about everything. I decided to ask what was going on.

-What is wrong?-I asked.

-It is not your problem kid.-A man with a BK outfit said.

-I just want to know, since it's close to my home. My name is Adam.-I said.

-We got some information about a few rebellion incidents close to school, so you should take care.-A man said.

-I think that for now means nothing, since it's mostly rumors .-I said.

-I think that those rumors are slowly becoming reality.-Another man said.

I nodded before walking off. I have no idea why this was happening, but I was sure that my father would be more busy at work than before.
