AFTER SOME TIME

AT THIRD PERSON'S POW:

After one more month, school decided that exams should be started earlier because of the current situation. Most of the students felt that was because teachers wanted to make their lives harder. Adam was not paying much attention to it, since Dom was ignoring him and not telling him any information about Caroline. It made his life even harder than before. On a Monday, Adam's classroom teacher decided to talk with students about something.

-Dear students, because of the rebellion situation, town council decided to make your exams the first Friday of next month.-Teacher said.

All of the students looked at the teacher quite shocked. It was clear that they were not happy about this idea.

-We haven't finished everything.-Rock said.

-We do not have enough time to get ready.-Kim said.

-That is too cruel.-Violet said.

-How we are supposed to answer questions that he hasn't learned about. This is nonsense.-Mike said.

-It will not be added to the exam, you do not have to worry about it.-. TheTeacher said.

-Easy for you to say it. You do not have to write an exam in less than a month.-One of the students groaned.

- Everything will be prepared, so you can get everything even. I am sure that all of you will pass it. That is the last word.- A school director said and left the room.

Some of the students started muttering, but it seemed that nobody was going to care about their opinion anyway.

AT ADAM'S POW:

When they talked about exams I was more worried about Caroline. She was living close to the wall at that moment and what was going to happen to her? I am sure that I will pass the exam, but I need her to be okay. My brother also has a part in it and I do not want him to be injured. I must talk to him before exams. I grabbed my phone and called him.

-Dominic. We must meet up.-I said.- I need your help.

-I understand. At our spot after school.-I heard Dom's voice.

-Sounds good. Thanks, brother. -I said, and ended the call.

When school ended, I left for our cafe. When I walked inside, I saw Dom already sitting. He seemed to be worried about something. I think that he has got some problems, but I am sure that he does not want to worry me about them.

-Hi, Dom.-I said.

-Hi brother.-He said and smiled slightly.

I sat down and saw how the waiter walked closer to us.

-What would you like to order?-Waiter asked.

-I would love some sweet tea with ice.-Dom said.

-I would like some diet coke with ice.-I said.

-Sure thing. I will bring it up in a moment.-A waiter said before walking off from our table.

I smiled and started our conversation. It took a waiter about five mins to bring up our drinks.

-What is wrong, brother? You look sad and worried.-I said.

-It is nothing special, just my section job is getting more and more difficult.-Dom said and sighed.

-I understand.-I said.

-I have practice in a week, we 'must' know how to manage everything.-Dom said.

-I have to work with my classmates to get ready for a future exam.-I said and sighed.

-But the exam is only in two months.-Dom said.

I was sure that he was pretty confused about what I was talking about at that moment.

-They made it earlier to the next month's first Friday.-I said.

I heard how Dom cursed. It was the first time I heard him doing so,I was sure that he was pretty annoyed about it.

-It was supposed to be in two months. I was thinking that something had happened about your tryout one, but I remember that you passed it with a good grade.-Dom said.

-I did. I also do not understand that. I know that rebellion thing is only happening at the corners, so why they must hurry everything over here?-I asked.

-I have no idea either, Brother.-Dom said and sighed.

-I wanted to talk about Caroline. I know that she is missing and I do wish to see her.-I said.

-You worried about her safety, right?-Dom asked.

-I am. I need to see her.-I said.

-I can not tell you that. I need to make sure that you are ready for exams.-Dom said.

I sighed. I knew that he was right about it. I am still a lot worried about her. I need her to be safe.

-I have to go now.-Dom said and I nodded.

-Can we have a bill?-I asked.

-Sure thing.-Waiter left and soon returned with a bill for our drinks.

I watched how Dom paid for our drinks. I wanted to pay for them, but Dom refused to let me do that. I smiled and left back home.

I came back home and I saw father sitting on the sofa. He looked pretty mad and I was pretty sure what was wrong with him.

-Where have you been? I was waiting a while for you.-I heard father's voice.

-I had some stuff to do.-I said and sighed.

-You have to study for your exams.-Dad said and frowned.

-I have time. I know what I have to do, so stop treating me like a child.-I said and left to my room.

-I haven't finished talking with you.-Dad said with an annoyed tone.

-I want to have some time in my room.-I said and closed my room door.

It seems that he is never going to change. I am trying to do my best, and that is still not enough for him. I am studying almost all the time. It seems that I am never going to be a perfect son for him.
