"I think he meant the incident with the Orcs," I answered but Elrond shook his head. "You are not the only guardian to stand watch over Middle-earth," Elrond said which I guess made Gandalf think what Elrond meant by that. Bilbo and Balin returned to the company while Thorin and I took a stroll through Rivendell until we reached my bedroom. "Good night." He whispered. "Good night Thorin," I whispered back, just before he released my arm he pulled me closer sealing his lips on to mine. "You two look like two seals fighting over a grape." A voice said behind me. I turned my head seeing Kili standing at the corner probably watching us for a few minutes. "Kili Durin I am so gonna smack your butt the next time you sneak up on us," I yelled which probably woke up a few elves. The next morning I woke up pretty early from somebody knocking on my door. I pulled the sheets away, when my feet touched the floor I pulled them back from the weird feeling of the cold stone floor underneath my bare feet. With only a few steps I walked to the door and opened it just a little bit for me to peek outside. "Good Morning Nessy." Bilbo greeted me. "Not you too, its already bad that Thorin is using that nickname," I grumbled back. "Sorry but Thorin sends me, we are leaving in 30 minutes." He said. "Give me a few minutes to wake up, pack and get dressed," I said. "I'll meet you outside," Bilbo said and I nodded. Quickly I washed, dried and got dressed before packing my backpack with fresh clothes, a dagger which belonged to my father. Outside my room, Bilbo waited for me looking over Rivendell. "Beautiful isn't it?" I asked the Hobbit who nodded, we took a few more minutes to gaze at the sight in front of us until it was time to meet the others. In the Courtyard, the others were already waiting. "Good Morning." I greeted my friends when Thorin walked towards me, he gave me a hug and placed his forehead on to mine, I closed my eyes for a  second forgetting what was around us. "Good morning beautiful," he whispered into my ear. "Morning," I replied with a smile. "God you two are cute," Kili said from the side, I shot him a glare, he knew why. "I hate you Kili," I growled at him. "Yeah? and me? Do you hate me?" Thorin asked. "Nope," I replied, Thorin smiled and took my hand. "Let's go," Thorin whispered with a nod of his head. Thorin and I walked to the front of the Group and led them out of Rivendell. I released Thorin's hand and looked back at my home while dwarfs passed me until Bilbo stood next to me. "Be on your guard; we're about to step over the edge of the Wild. Balin, you know these paths; lead on." Thorin shouted from the front. "Aye," Balin replied ad walked to the front while I stayed where I was. "Master Baggins, I suggest you keep up," Thorin yelled after I continued to walk further up not noticing that Bilbo was still where we looked over Rivendell. I waited for the hobbit and side by side we walked behind the others further and further up the mountain. "Hold on!" Thorin yelled, it was getting late and rain has been pouring down on us for hours it seemed like. "We must find shelter!" Thorin yelled to the back just as I slipped from the wet floor beneath me, thanks to Dwalin who was right behind me I did not fall since he caught me in time. "Thanks big guy." I thanked him while he gave me a stern look. "Stay with her Dwalin." Our leader ordered, suddenly I got pushed aside when I heard Dwalin called out a warning. "Watch out!" he yelled holding me against the wall behind me. We finally managed to get through the storm where we almost lost part of the group and Bilbo almost twice. "It looks safe enough," Dwalin said. "You are very optimistic Dwalin," I said standing at the entrance. Dwalin ignored me and walked further into the cave. "Search to the back; caves in mountains are seldom unoccupied," Thorin ordered, Dwalin didn't even blink, that's how I knew how loyal he was to our leader. "There's nothing here," he called back and returned just minutes later. "Right then! Let's get a fire started," said Gloin who dropped a pile of wood on the floor. "No, No fires, not in this place. Get some sleep. We start at first light." Thorin said while looking outside where it was still raining. "I'll stay here, you go and find a dry spot to sleep," I told Thorin, he nodded and laid his blanket out just a few feet away from me. "We were supposed to meet Gandalf in the mountains," said Balin towards Thorin. "Plans change. Bofur, take the first watch," he replied, slowly we all went to sleep but I was anxious to sleep since I knew that somewhere underneath us Goblins lived. I hated those creatures but since I was super tired I fell asleep, but when I woke up I noticed right away that my companions were gone. "Guys?" I called, Carefully I turned one of the lanterns on, as I looked into the cave it was empty.
