She just stood there, frozen! Zion did not know how to get through to her, he thought he had figured her out, she is kindhearted, so why isn’t she considering his feelings? His thoughts were scattered, his heart anxious, he pushed her for an answer again. “Say something. Give me a chance, give us a chance.” Zion literally begged her. He was never the desperate one. In his world, girls waited for him, he never had to chase after them, they came to him. Yet here he was, desperately waiting for her, to answer, to make him the happiest man in the world. He saw a glimpse of emotion flicker in her beautiful brown eyes, what was it? Pity, guilt, helplessness? He was trying to understand it, however what happened next left him flabbergasted, changed him in ways he never thought were possible, but most importantly, it would change her entire life.
