CHARACTERS

Lovinia:

Background; Lovinia was left on the steps of an orphanage as a newborn baby. Growing up, she stayed to herself, rarely ever speaking out against people. She only ever spoke to teachers at school and the old couple who owned a bookshop she loved. The old couple, Frank and Jessica Hollyoak had owned Hollyoak Books since they were married. When Lovinia reached high school she decided to make a friend, but it backfired and instead, the person she thought was her friend, ended up embarrassing her in front of the entire school. Since then she hasn’t trusted anyone other than Frank and Jessica Hollyoak.

Personality; Lovinia has always felt like an outsider. Shy, quiet, and in some cases, invisible. She does what she’s told and never talks back. She respects her elders but trusts no one. She has only ever genuinely smiled at Frank and Jessica, or a book she’s reading.

Appearance; Lovinia has hip-length strawberry blonde hair and a warm beige skin tone. She is 5’4, and her body developed earlier than normal. She has bluish-green eyes, a button nose and plump rosy lips.

Kahlyla:

Background; Kahlyla grew up around all of the other school teacher’s kids. Which wouldn’t be an issue if she didn’t find them all to be backstabbing, disloyal, disrespectful, immature snakes in the grass. To be a teacher within the Divine is a big deal. One has to be chosen to become a teacher, and to be one is held in the highest regard. SO, to be the child of a teacher is similar to being the firstborn child of a Lord and Lady. Kahlyla hated going to all the parties her parents attended, instead, she’d fake sick so her parents would leave her home alone, then she would teleport to her human friends who didn’t know what she was. She was found out one day when she was attacked by a Divine assassin while with some friends. She was left with no option but to teleport them all out, which thankfully resulted in her friends ending up unconscious, so they never remembered what happened, but she could never stay there for fear of her friends figuring it out, or remembering. Her parents had taken care of the assassins while Kahlyla teleported her friends away, they were furious with her before they saw her when she teleported back. Kahlyla realized how big of a mistake it was to make friends with humans since they could never know what she was. After she explained to her parents why she’d done what she did, they apologized to her as they never wanted to make her miserable or like she felt she couldn’t tell them how she felt. Since then, Kahlyla and her parents are even closer. They spar together as a family, 1v1v1. She even helps them perform demonstrations in class, (her parents are the combat teachers and heads of the school’s security).

Personality; Kahlyla is respectful, loyal, and outspoken, she makes friends easily and trusts rarely. She enjoys pulling pranks when not completely inappropriate and usually has a bubbly mood about her, but trust me when I saw, you do NOT want to make her angry. She finds amusement in flirting with and teasing guys who try to pursue her. She has never been a shy person, but when a certain guy is close, her outgoing personality transforms into a lovesick puppy. Though when someone points out her unmissable change, she changes back to her usual self, there is no way to hide her bright red cheeks and love-struck eyes. Whether he was to ever pick up on that or not was a different story.

Appearance; Kahlyla is 5’6, with gorgeous medium brown, waist-length hair that is naturally straight. She has flawless olive skin, bright blue eyes, a slender nose and full lips.

Holden, Hunter, Hayden:

Background; Holden, Hunter, and Hayden are triplets. They have always been close, even to the point of sometimes sharing love interests. While growing up, they of course had some friends, but it was difficult for the 3 of them to relate to anyone else. How could anyone else understand how they all fall for the same girl, how they all go out with her at once, which caused some of their friends to stop being their friends. But I mean, how do they not fight over her? Only they could understand and relate to each other's feelings in that situation.  While it is challenging for them to open up to others, it doesn’t mean they can’t. The brothers have two best friends who are similar to them, however not related. They are Gunnar and Wayland.

Personality; Holden, Hunter and Hayden are closed off from most people. They are still outgoing and extroverted, however, they do not open up emotionally until they trust someone and want to be trusted in return. When they do open up to someone, they are humorous, kind, respectful and encouraging. The triplets are the first males to be born with a shared mental ability in 150 years. Being half introverted, they stay humble about how much more powerful they are than others their age.

Appearance; Holden, Hunter, and Hayden are all between 6’2 and 6’4. They love to work out in the school's gym, so they are all muscular and have a sunkissed beige skin tone. Holden has green eyes, thin lips and a strong nose. Hunter has one brown eye, one green and brown eye, Hayden has brown eyes, but they both have full lips and a strong nose like Holden, which they got from their father. Hunter and Holden have chocolate brown hair, Hayden’s hair is a shade darker. Hunter has wavy hair he likes to keep unruly that just touches the bottom of his neck. Holden has the sides of his hair done close, but not shaved, while the top is a little longer. Hayden has almost the same as Holden, but his hair is a little longer on top, even if only by a couple of centimetres.

Gunnar:

Background; Gunnar lived with his parents, who moved around the world frequently for work within hidden communities of the Divine. His father is an army General, and his mother is one of the strongest healers to ever live. Gunnar met Wayland, his best friend when they were 8 years old. Gunnar and Wayland’s parents were assigned together for over 3 years. When that time came to an end, their parents couldn’t stand to separate them, so the boys were given the option of attending Divination Academy’s primary school together. There they met Holden, Hunter, and Hayden.

Personality; Gunnar always looked on the bright side of things. After all, clouds come with silver linings, and we can’t have rainbows without a storm. Gunnar was always outgoing. To him, moving around so much only gave him the chance to meet even more awesome people he could be friends with. Gunnar loves to pull pranks and is happy to embarrass himself to make others smile. He rarely frowns and has never been speechless. He is strong-willed and loyal. Courteous and cautious. Honest and respectful. He doesn’t think of himself as better than anyone, but he also knows no one is better than him. Everyone is equal, to begin with. Whether someone is better or worse than someone else is decided within their own minds, but it also only holds meaning in their own mind.

Gunnar and Wayland- often fell for the same girl while growing up together while their parents were stationed together. Their fathers caught them fighting about a girl during their third year together and gave them some unexpected advice that was kept a secret from their mums. Their fathers told them to share. If they can’t decide who gets to pursue her then either neither of them should go for her, or they both should. They decided to make a pact that when they both want the same girl, they both can have her if she’s ok with it, if not, then neither of them can have her. Surprisingly enough, they’ve had even more girls ask them both out at the same time because the girls they’ve both been with have gossiped about the boys telling them their pact.

Appearance; Gunnar is 6’1, with blue eyes and shaggy sandy blonde hair. He has a beige skin tone, defined muscular physique, crooked nose and thin but full lips.

Wayland:

Background; Wayland lived a similar life to Gunnar. He had never stayed anywhere for more than a few months before his and Gunnar’s parents were stationed together for 3 years while they were growing up. After Wayland and Gunnar started attending Divination academy’s primary school, they were finally able to be more like other kids their age. While they got along with almost everyone, with more attention coming from the girls in their class than anyone else, the fact that they couldn’t get Holden, Hunter or Hayden to even speak to them, bothered them. They didn’t know why they were so closed off from everyone apart from each other, but they made it their mission to get to know them. It may have taken 2 years but they all became the best of friends. Now Holden, Hunter and Hayden not only talk to Gunnar and Wayland, they roast them, mess around with them, and trust them.

Personality; Like Gunnar, Wayland is loyal and respects those who return that respect and loyalty. He loves meeting new people, especially girls. Wayland was always a ladies man, in a manner of speaking. While Wayland and Gunnar were trying to befriend Holden, Hunter, and Hayden, Gunnar would often sit in the library, run around the school, or lift weights in the school gym while he thought of ways to get them to open up. When Gunnar would be doing one of those 3 things, Wayland would be in his room with a girl, or in a bathroom stall, or the janitors closet. Sometimes with more than one girl. Although he sleeps around, Wayland has never disrespected a female or degraded her in any way. Gunnar swears part of the reason Wayland sleeps with so many girls is that he’s too nice to reject them. When Wayland isn’t with a girl, he is with Gunnar, Holden, Hunter, and/or Hayden. The five of them are inseparable.

Gunnar and Wayland- often fell for the same girl while growing up together while their parents were stationed together. Appearance; Wayland is 6’3, with warm beige skin, hazel eyes and thick lips the girls can’t stop looking at when he talks. His physique is just as impressive as Gunnar’s. Wayland and Gunnar have backed each other in fights so they have both broken their nose, leaving both of their noses crooked, only adding to their rakish charm.
