“By the look right there, I’m guessing he didn’t tell you?” Sean asked, his voice tinged with sympathy. I shook my head, closing my eyes and forcing a calm I didn’t feel.
No, Stella was right!

As long as there was life, there was hope!
If Rain was captured, at least we had time to find and rescue him. He’d survived torture and pain before; he would live through it again.

If he didn’t, I’d have Stella resurrect him so I could kill him myself!
