Act I: The Omen One evening, Kaelen is in the forest collecting mushrooms for the local healer when a shockwave ripples through the sky, accompanied by a blinding light. A fracture opens overhead—like a tear in the fabric of reality. Time seems to freeze. From the rift, a dark feather drifts down, glowing faintly. Kaelen touches it—and sees a vision: burning skies, monstrous shadows, and a voice whispering, “The Veil is broken. The Unseen stirs.” He collapses. Act II: Strange Visitors Kaelen wakes in the village elder’s home. The elder, Madra Ewyn, recognizes the feather and grows visibly alarmed. She reveals that Kaelen was left in the village as a baby during the last celestial event like this—17 years ago. The timing cannot be coincidence. That night, masked figures arrive in the village, cloaked in smoke and wielding strange silver staffs. They call themselves The Cindralith—guardians of the Veil. They demand the feather. When Madra Ewyn refuses to hand Kaelen over, a skirmish breaks out. Kaelen flees with the help of his childhood friend, Lira, a spirited blacksmith’s daughter with a hidden talent for magic. The two escape into the forest under cover of night, the feather still in Kaelen’s hand. Act III: The Prophecy Unearthed In a cave deep in the woods, Kaelen and Lira stumble upon a forgotten ruin—a Veil Temple. Mysterious glyphs on the wall react to Kaelen’s touch.
