Scars on heart Chapter 1 It was heavily raining outside, and Crystal was lying on the hospital bed, watching the beautiful rain through to the window of her hospital room, as she was admitted to the hospital last night as she again got a panic attack, and this time a serious one, she almost stopped breathing, and her mother got really scared, she immediately took her hospital, she was so scared to lose her, It is been ten months when Mrs Patterson officially adopted Crystal, it was a tough process for Mrs. Patterson to adopt her as she above eighteen years old and mature enough to take all her legal decisions, but Mrs. Patterson's determination and hard work made this work perfectly done and she could adopt her, Mrs. Patterson is now in her late thirties but unfortunately, she had no child from her ten years marriage, she tried to adopt a boy before, but he was not willing to stay with her and left her hopeless,  It is been months but she is still not open to anyone, she used to stay in her room most of the time, even in her college she does not talk to anyone, she does not have any friends either, Mrs. Patterson tried a lot to talk to her, but she never shared anything, she used to stay quiet all the time and so many times she cries alone in her room, she tried to cheer up, but there was no use of it, she wonders what happened with this beautiful poor soul, but she has no clues of her past, It was two days now as Crystal was discharged from the hospital, and now she could continue her first year in the college, she prepared her bag and came downstairs, "Crystal, do not go without eating your breakfast my baby", said Mrs. Patterson to Crystal who was tying the shoelaces on the stairs, " I am not hungry mom, I mean Mrs. Patterson", said Crystal, It was the first time when Crystal called mom to her, it was accidentally but she loved it, a few tears escaped from the corner of her eyes, and there was a small smile on her lips, she came closer to Crystal and gently kissed her head, "I would really love it, baby, if you will call me mom forever", said Mrs. Patterson as the tears rolled down to her cheeks, Crystal felt so bad for her, and she knows Mrs. Patterson is a nice woman and she is taking care of her like her own daughter, " Please do not cry because of me Mrs. Patterson, I mean mom", said Crystal and the smile of Mrs. Patterson's got wider and the more tears of happiness, rolled down to her cheeks, she had waited years for this day, her ears yearned to hear the mom word and today when Crystal called her mom, her eyes got wet, she kissed Crystal's head and pulled her into a deep hug, "Okay mom, now I have to go to college, see you soon", said Crystal and about to walk away, " No Crystal, you have to eat some breakfast, only then I will let you go", said Crystal's mom and hold her hand, "okay fine mom, let us go, or else will be late", said Crystal and quickly sat on the dining table, and her mom serves her, this is the first time when she is literally happy, Ten months is not a short period, in these ten months, Crystal never smiled, not even once, she did not react at all when Mrs. Patterson adopted her, she thought they are her new customers and now she was used to this life, but this time her life changed upside down, they started treating her like there own daughter, she could not believe it was happening in real, they were like God to her, treating her like a princess, But she now looks like a dead body, she does not smile now, she does not even talk to anyone, she is just a living thing, Crystal finished her breakfast and her mom just pecked her head with a small kiss, and she forced a small smile, "Okay now I have to go, bye mom", said Crystal and left, her mom was just staring her back until she left, Crystal has her own scooter, Her father bought her a new when she got the admission to New yorks best college, The Wings,  which is a little far from her house, She quickly wore her helmet and start her scooter, and left her house, she crossed the half of her college, but then there was a harsh noise and her scooter stooped in the middle of the way, she tried again and again, so many times, but the scooter did not start again, She looks at her watch on her wrist, and the tension line was on her forehead, if she did not reach the college in the next fifteen minutes, she will be late for her first lecture, she tried to kick her scooter and prayed, "Please God, please make it start", she whispered, but then she realized she does not believe in the existence of God anymore, She decided to drag her scooter, but it would be so stupid, she will be late for sure, so she decided  to leave her scooter right here and find a cab, and then she will call her dad then he will send someone to pick her scooter, She locked her scooter and started to walk in the direction of her college, the sunlight was so annoying, she really does not appreciate the sunlight, it only causes her a major headache, then she hears a loud horn, continuously right behind her, first, she ignores it, But then she realized it was for her, someone was intentionally doing this, maybe for calling her and she turned her head, and what she saw made her a little shocked and confused, A tall guy, seems like almost her age, but he was looking damn, looking like a handsome hulk, although hews sitting in his black limo, still, you can guess his height, it would be approx six feet, and his hair was silky grey, and brown eyes, wearing a plain navy blue full sleeve t-shirt, he was just looking as handsome as a heel, he was waving his hand with a fake, sheepish smile, Crystal decides to ignore him completely and started walking again, but here he was, again honking his car, "Is something wrong with you, Mr. whoever you are", asked Crystal, finally stopping her walking and narrowing her eyes, "I was just thinking that I can help you", he said then, in a sweet, polite tone, and Crystal was just staring at her for a good two minutes, "Excuse me", she said and he just shyly roamed his fingers in his hair, "As I know, you are going to college, I am also going there, and seems like you do not have any other option, so I can drop you, I mean, you can come with me", he said, smiling like an i***t, "And what made you think that I will come with you", said Crystal and started walking again, "But what is the problem, we are in the same college, and you are in trouble, so what is wrong in coming with me, I am not gonna hurt you I promise", he said and Crystal give him a look, "Look, there is nothing wrong to come with you, and I know you will not hurt me, you seems a good guy, but thank you so much, I will go by myself", said Cyrstal and headed straight to her way, In the next two minutes, she finds a cab, before he can approach her, she sat inside the cab, and did not look back again, She dialled her dad's number, he picked the phone in just one ring, he is so lucky to have a daughter like her, Mr. Patterson is an emotional man, and he also craved for the love of a child, for a daughter who can call him a dad, and when they found Crystal in that condition, his heart clenched in pain, there was a little hope in his heart, one day Crystal will start loving him back as he does, "Hello, Crystal, are you okay baby", asked Mr. Patterson, as Crystal does not do call at this time, "Yes dad, I am fine", she said, and there was a sound of some clash, Crystal got panicked all of sudden what happened to the other side, "Are you there dad, is everything okay, hello, dad, you there", she said but no reply, The phone accidentally fell from Mr. Patterson's hand, it was the first time when he heard "dad", and he could not believe in her ear, so it happened, "Hello, I am fine Crystal, do not need to worry my baby, you tell me, why did you call, said Mr. Patterson with so much excited tone, "Actually dad, I was going to the college, and my scooter is not working, and so I left it in the middle of my way and going to the college by cab, will you please take care you're of it", asked Crystal, she is a little bit nervous because it is the first time when is asking for something, "Of course I will, but you should have called me earlier, I could have dropped your college, there was no need to go into a cab", said her dad, and a small smile appeared on her face she thinks how much he cares for her, "It is okay dad", thank you so much, see you in the evening", said Crystal, and she reached the college too, She paid for the cab driver and headed inside the college, As she entered college, she started feeling uncomfortable again, it been long to be out like this, she is avoiding the socialization for years now, it is almost three years now, the last she was happy three years ago, And these three years changed her life completely, she forgot to smile, she scares now from being close to anyone, she does not talk even with girls, This is her third day in the college, she came two days college before her hospitalization, and after that, this is the first day when she came to college, She asked about her lecture class to the receptionist and headed towards the classroom, she never thinks that she will be able to study again in her life after living hell, she was not only broken, she was almost dead, She wonders how did she survive those years, thinking about her past again tears built up in her pale eyes, and her legs started trembling, and her vision getting blur, but she quickly wiped her tears, She wants to give up on her darkest past and move on in her life when the most kind-hearted couple adopted her at this age, she thought God gives her a second chance to move on in her life, She willingly accepts the love they were giving her, but after trying so much, she was unable to give them back the love they deserved, but today when she called them mom and dad, their reaction made her heart clenched in the pain, But she was now determined to move on, she will start to love them as her parents because they really deserved it, Once again she was lost in her past and confused in her present, and then about to fall down so badly, she quickly closed her eyes, ready to feel the pain once again, but wait, that does not happen, She felt a soft pair of hands on her waist, and she did not fell down, she was protected and in someone's strong arms, too scared to open her eyes, But slowly opened her eyes, to find the dark black eyes were staring her, and then he was looking straight into her eyes, and then she felt a warm touch on her face, She realized that he wiped her tears with his thumb, and she quickly gets up on her feet, She opened her mouth to say thank you to him, but then closed it again, no words were coming out from her mouth, and before he could say anything to her she quickly ran away in the direction of her classroom, He was the same guy, who asked her to drop her college, but she refused him, He was probably the most handsome guy in the college, as every girl was staring at him on the campus, but he put his glasses on his eyes and ignored all the stares and walk out from the campus, headed straight to his classroom, He entered inside the classroom, and find a suitable seat for him, well, there was no suitable seat there, but again, his gaze fell on her again, She was sitting alone on the bench, and he wants to sit beside her, she was writing something in the notebook, and he just sat on the bench next to hers, she was writing her regular dairy, The lecturer came to the classroom and Crystal stood up from her seat and wished her good morning, And the whole class started laughing at her, she used to this habit from her high school, but maybe she forgot that now she is in college, and here students do not do this, Here the lecturer comes and goes who cares, but the lecturer passed her a bright smile and wished her back, Crystal does not care what others think about her, she was not even affected by the laugh of the students, she sat down on her seat and started studying what the lecturer was teaching, the bell rang and the lecturer passed Crystal a small smile before leaving the classroom, which Crystal gladly return back, Her next lecture was after half an hour, so she decided to head straight to the library, She asked the receptionist about the library and went in that direction, Usually, very few students go to the library in this college, so there were barely only one or two students, Crystal found it a little weird but she ignored it, And as she went inside, and here he was sitting on the first bench, watching her, As she went inside the library, she felt his gazes on her, but she ignored them and made herself comfortable on the last bench, The library is not that big, but it has enough space, so she put her bag on the table and started making notes, she is already left-back in her studies for one month, as she was not able to come out of her house, She used to get panic attacks so her family was a little worried about her condition, so they did not let her go to college, But nowadays her health issues are getting improved, and she is being a little open up, so they let her go to college, As now she is writing something from her book, but she could feel his gaze, as he turned his face into her direction, and that is looking damn weird, but Crystal does not want to talk unnecessarily with anyone, After sometime when there was an awkward silence, here he goes, "Hey, I am Fin, how are you", he asked all sudden, breaking the silence of the library and she got surprised, she lifts her head up and stare at him for a second, and started writing again, He obviously found it weird, maybe this is the first time when a girl is ignoring him, and it really felt bad, He was thinking about what to do, to get her attention, but she is ignoring him like he does not exist, and that is really annoying him, "Hey, why did you refuse to come with me, I was dropping you to college, I was also coming here right", he asked again trying to start a conversation, but she was playing tough, "Are you talking to me", she asked finally breaking her silence, "Or what do you think I am talking to walls", he asked with narrow eyes, "Do not you know this is the library, and talking is not allowed here, so keep your mouth shut", she said and about to start writing again, but he speaks again, "But there is no one right, so no one is going to get disturbed", he said, and his words really make sense, there was no one, but she is also right, you should maintain the silence in the library right, "So what, still you are not allowed to talk here okay", she said and give him a chance if he wants to say anything else, and of course he wants, "So let us go outside so that we can talk", he said so casually, "And what made you think that I will come with you", she said with a brow up, "but what is wrong in that, I am just saying for talk, nothing else", he said with pleading eyes, "Thank you, but no thank you, I do not want to talk, now let me do my work, and you do yours", she said dismissing him, She could still feel his intense gazes on her, but she refused to look up until he gave up and left the library with a sad face, She looks up and finds no one, she took a deep breath in relief, She does not know why her heart was beating so fast around him, and her surroundings were making her breathe heavily, but when he left she noticed his sad face off, But she can not talk to a random guy like him, and also by looks he seems like a playboy, and definitely, he should have a lot have girls around her anytime, But wait, why she is thinking about him, and also making judgments about him, this is really not fair, "thinking about me, right", she heard him again and her body becomes rigid all of sudden due to surprise,
