Chapter 66

"Argghh!!!..."

She screamed in pain as she took her vamp-demon form and in a flash decapitated the head of the demon which sent it flying away as it disintegrated into dust

A smile creeped on Aza's lips as he plunged towards Elias who held tightly to his sword and managed to stand as Aza's lips etched as he made to speak

"I won't kill you now but a time shall come when you shall test my wrath and the whole world will know that......"

Aza was saying when a bright light appeared from a corner of Hades Temple as Hades walked out with a sword that had a skeleton pattern on it and Argard stared at Hades and looked suprisingly at the other Hades who laid weakly on the ground

"Surprised huh?! Do you really think you can take on a god easily?.. but no need for that because this young man here caused his own problem... Too much of invading into someone's business caused him this...."

Hades elucidated as he pointed at the other Hades who still splurred on the floor... And almost immediately the other Hades face turned to Lucas as he made to speak

"My lord.. if I die just know I died protecting you!... The Hades here you see is evil and is not someone who you can strike a deal with... I figured out that he was planning to seal you and I investigated the matter.. of which I found this but as an evil god.. he found out of my plans and outsmarted me then compelled my soul to do his will"Lucas explained as he disintegrated slowly into dust almost immediately and Aza immediately dashed towards him but it was too late as he finally turned into dust and Aza grabbed the dust as he broke down in pain.

____________Flash Back____________

After Hades strocked a deal with Hades and Lucas suspected something evil about him.... He began trailing Hades about.. of which Hades knew but waited for the right time to strike, but luck wasn't on Lucas side on the day he trailed Hades down to his Temple

Lucas walked in as everywhere was dark and the temple sourced brightness from the candles that flickered and then suddenly the entire horizon lightened up as a deep voice boomed from all the four corners

"So you came here to die right?..

"I knew it!!.. you weren't to be trusted.. what do want from my master?"

 Lucas asked angrily as he clenched his fist. Hades suddenly appeared before him and gripped his throat.. then jerked him up as he began to strangle him and Lucas struggled to breathe

"You know nothing but watch and see how I seal your master with the chain of hell and then all the whole world shall crumbled at my feet"Hades said and threw Lucas down roughly as the chain of hell magically appeared on his hands glowing with fire as it radiated an unearthly Aura.

"How did you manage to get the chain of hell?"Lucas asked as he coughed out blood

"Do you wanna know.. anyways no need for that...

Lucas made for a run as Hades flunged the chain at him as it gripped his legs tightly and Hades drew him forward

"Going somewhere?... But I'm sorry, you are never going to escape again" Hades blurted out

"Cerebus!... Come take this little fool here and lock him up in the dungeon... As I sit and wait for the perfect timing"Hades added as cerebus bounced in.

Hades step in towards Kratos lair as a smile creeped his lips and he manovoured deeper into it as he made to speak

"Wow! Such a nice place"Hades said grinning

"Is that so?"Kratos asked emerging from the dark

"You know that isn't why I'm here.. I don't make compliments but a little will do... You know the current issue at hand right?"Hades stated

"Yeah so what do you want?"Kratos asked scrutinizing Hades

"Don't you think we can join hands and seal Aza.. you know as you have the chain of hell, it will be easy"Hades said trying to convince Kratos

"I can't do that without the consent of the Olympian gods.. and besides I'm just the guardian of the chain of hell but anyways why does this concern you, you aren't parting of any meeting and then all of a sudden you just show or here wanting to seal Aza or do you have an bad motive..."

"Ahhhh.. why are you thinking that way?"Hades asked

"We aren't having this conversation besides me and you weren't buddies, so please leave now!!"Kratos replied angrily and he made to walk away when a chain like pen fell from his robe and Hades smiled and commanded a wind to pick it up... Kratos turned back when he felt a sudden rush of wind behind him and Hades stood up immediately and opened a portal towards his Temple

"Let me see how you will have the stone of light under my watch"Kratos muttered

"Lucas!!"

Aza called out painly and he suddenly felt an outburst of raw energy as he speed towards Hades

"Die!!!!"

Aza shouted as Hades flunged him away with the force from his sword.. Argard made to attack him but Hades merged with the wind as Argard felt a chill behind and before he could make any move, he screamed in pain

"Argghh..."Argard shouted as Hades removed his sword from his thigh and black thick blood oozed from it and Cara landed beside Argard as she dragged him into a portal already opened

 As Elias saw that things took a drastic turn, he dashed out of Hades Temple immediately

Aza made to attack Hades but Hades suddenly flunged the chain like pen at him and it glowed and expanded into the chain of hell and Aza moved back in fear as the tip of the chain touched him and it drained some of his powers... Aza knowly fully well that he wasn't gonna win this fight bolted into a portal and Hades laughed manically

"Scared chickens....

Elias walked towards the receptionist as she smiled at him showing her white set of teeth

"Please I'm here to see Dr Collins!"Elias said politely

"The office by your left, he awaits your presence"the nurse said pointing towards the direction and Elias turned to go

Elias stepped into Dr Collins office and he met him talking to a nurse but immediately they saw him they kept quiet

"Can I see my mom?, How's she doing?"Elias asked and suddenly Dr Collins faced changed to a solemn look

"I'm afraid she's dead"Dr Collins dropped the bomb shell

"I know you must be joking.. how can someone who you told me was getting better suddenly be dead.. come of it, that's a silly joke"Elias said

"I'm sorry that's the truth and as a matter of fact she has been buried"Dr Collins explained

"Tell me this not true.. so can I see her grave?"Elias asked as he broke down in tears

"It's against our protocols"Dr Collins replied sternly and Elias rushed at him as he pinned him to the wall.. memories flashed through his mind and he let go of Dr Collins and he hit his head on the wall as it bleed and the wound closed up immediately but Elias was to pained to notice this as he dashed out of the hospital

"Why didn't you tell him?"the nurse asked

"How do you expect me to tell him that his mom disappeared suddenly without any trace"Dr Collins replied as he stood up and dusted his coat

Elias ran further into the woods as tears formed on his eyes.. he paused and took a deep breath as he sat on the floor and went and he suddenly felt a tap behind him as he turned and saw rose

"Mom is that really you?"Elias asked moving backwards

"Yeah!, Come feel me"rose said as Elias ran and engaged her in a tight hug but her eyes still looked pale

"Let's leave! The woods is no longer save.. when we get home I will explain some things to you"rose added as she flicked her hands and a portal opened and they walked right into it

A portal appeared as rose and Elias stepped out of it as it closed up Immediately and rose staggered towards the couch... It seems she hasn't fully recovered.. Elias sat by her side as she made to speak

" No one can be trusted anymore, the world is gradually turning into something else.. the most surprising thing is that doctor Collins was a villian all along.. while in my coma I saw what unfolded, Hades has gotten the chain of hell and now Aza would be under his manipulation, Dr Collins planning to create an army of mutants... Who would have thought that the famous wanted Dr Jones is Dr Collins himself.. he hids in the shadows, to the outside world he's Dr Collins but at night he's the shadow that lurks"rose explained

"Wait you mean Dr Collins.. but.. ermm.. how could that be?"Elias asked as he stammered

"He's a wolf in sheep's clothing.. that why no one can be trusted.. you have to find the stone of light before others gets it"rose explained further

"But how did you know about Dr Collins?"Elias asked

"I heard all these things myself...

___________Flash Back___________

Collins hospital

"What did we do with these patient here?"a nurse asked pointing at rose

"We turn her into a mutant.. that's what Argard wants"Dr Collins replied and rose moved a finger of which they didn't notice

"Once I get the portion from Alexander ( a lab scientist) I will inject all this patients here and turn them all into mutants"Dr Collins added and the nurse turned to a demonic bat and flew out

rose narrated as Elias gasped in surprise as he mouthed a "wow"

"I have to prepare you for the quest to find the stone of light which is in three days"rose announced

"That won't be now.. cause I have an appointment to keep"Elias said as bounced out of the house

"Hmm ... The boy is about finding his soul mate.. if they join hands together only then can he be able to defeat Aza using the stone of light.. "rose muttered sliently

Rumbling of trees and chirping of birds could be heard as a figure wearing a hoodie emerge from nowhere.... The figure plunged towards an awaiting figure who stood with it's gaze towards another part of the woods as it uncovered it's hoodie

"Finally you came... Let's map out a plan of how to get my soul out of that goddamn vase because sooner or later, lord Argard is bound to find out"Cara stated

"Hmm.. it won't be an be an easy task if I must say.. but first I would have to survey the area to know what kind of people are there"Elias elucidated

"The people who are there are all demons and while some are mutants... They are always on guard, so it would be very difficult to break in... Especially to even gain access to lord Argard secret room because that's where my soul lies and there is an invisible barrier that pushes people who tries to go in but he once told me that only someone from his bloodline can break that barrier...."Cara was saying when she noticed Elias wasn't paying attention as he was so engrossed in staring at her cleavages

"What are you staring at jerk!!"she said and punched him

"Ermm.. just thinking about something... So if Hades tries to attack me now what I'm I gonna do?"

Cara burst into an hysterical laugh when she noticed that Elias was talking out-of- point and Elias stared at her in surprise

"Are you okay!!?"Cara asked still laughing making Elias look like a maniac

"Just now we were talking about retrieving my soul and then you started talking about the souls Hades, like what has Hades got to do with this"Cara added

"Never mind and don't make me look like a fool here... What if I decide not to help you anymore?"Elias asked feigning annoyance
