Chapter 11

CHAPTER ELEVEN

Rowland walked home drunk later that day, he stumbled at the door post as he looked for his keys in his trousers. “I’m sorry for your loss” a gentle voice spoke behind him, Aza turned sharply in fear as he saw a handsome young man wearing a black designers suit. Fear gripped him as he said in a quaky voice, “Please if you’re hear to kill me, be quick about it, I have nothing to live for”, “ Is everyone the devil?” The man asked with a smile and stepped forward, “Please open the door, I’m not here to harm you” he said and Rowland hurriedly opened the door and the two entered.

   “Who are you?” Rowland asked drunkenly, “I’m a friend” the man replied and sat down as he looked around the house, “you have a nice house” he said, “it used to be when I spent it with someone” Rowland replied as he took out a bottle of wine and two glass cups from the fridge and brought them to him. 

“You know sleeping with a woman who’s not your wife is f*********n” the man replied as he sat up, “who cares?” Rowland asked opening the wine, “haven’t you had enough drink already? You’re drunk” the man said snatching the bottle out of Rowland’s hand, “what’s wrong with you, let me sober up, will you?” Rowland replied as he tried taking back the bottle but the man refused, “I have been watching you for sometime and you’ve not been impressing us”, “Us?” Rowland asked, “who’s US?” The man laughed as he relaxed, “my name is Raphael”.

   Elias who was at home replayed the past events on his mind as the picture of Rose’s death kept on coming. Aza’s words of them being erased echoed in his ears, “I don’t know what to do” he lamented holding his face with his palms.

   Aza walked along the streets aimlessly, with his hands in his pockets, watching humans laughing, running along the streets and going about their lives brought a smile on his face, “why do the devil want to eliminate mankind, I see no problem and see nothing they’ve done to him” he thought to himself. “But God is quiet, he’s probably planning something” he concluded.

 Just as he was about turning a corner, he collided with a beautiful lady with books which fell to the ground. She wore glasses. They both rushed to pick them up as their eyes met, with a smile Aza said, “I’m sorry I didn’t see you, wasn’t thinking straight” as he gave her the last book he picked and they both stood up, “I’m sorry too” she said, “you don’t have to” he replied and tried leaving

“Aza!” She called, he stood shocked on how she knew him. Turning around he asked, “how did you know me?”, “we’ve met before” she replied, “I don’t think we have” he said, “I helped you escape” she said with a smile. This dawn on him that she was the demon who made his escape possible, “what are you doing here?” He asked with a low voice, “let’s go somewhere and talk” she replied and held him on his hand, as they left the area.

The devil who was sitting on a throne, with a gold cup in his left hand, “my lord” Reckon greeted as he bowed, “what do you want?” Lucifer asked, “I came to report on a missing demon” he replied, “who can that be?” Lucifer asked.

On EARTH

“You are a victim of demon dominance over humans” Raphael said, “but I think help is coming your way” he continued, “help? From who? Because I don’t see anyone that can do anything, I’m trapped in between the devil and his demon on assignment, there’s nothing you can do, no help my friend” Rowland replied as he sat up, staggering a little before making his way to the refrigerator. 

“Don’t you believe in God?” Raphael asked, “God?” Rowland repeated, “where was he when all these was happening, where was he when Rose got killed by the devil?” He turned around with a beer in his hand, “I once didn’t believe in Supernatural beings till I saw one, I once believed in God but now… No!” He said sitting down, “you need some?” He offered Raphael the drink, “no thanks” Raphael refused, “the wine I had earlier is enough”, “ common man, drink up, the end of the world is coming soon, so drink up and enjoy the remaining days you have left” Rowland advised as he opened the beer and drank.

   Dinia and Aza walked to Elias house, “Elias will freak out on the sight of you” Aza said, “I know” Dinia laughed as they headed to the door. Aza knocked, no answer, he pressed the bell, still no answer, “where could he have gone?” Aza asked as he held the door handle and it opened. Surprised Aza led the way inside, “Elias has never left his door unlocked” he said, “there’s always a first time” Dinia replied with a smile. 

“Wow! His house is really big, bigger and more beautiful than I think” she said as her eyes devoured the sight. “Wait here, I’ll go check him in his room” Aza said as he made his way upstairs. Dinia sat at on a couch as she caressed the leather of the chair, “real leather chair, everything here is glittering” she commented.

  “Elias I brought someone” Aza said as he opened the door to Elias room but no one was there, “Elias!” Aza screamed his name but no answer, “where did you go?” He asked himself as he made his way to other rooms in search but it was all vail. “I better get Dinia out of here, it’s beginning to feel creepy” he said to himself and made his way downstairs, to the sitting room. “Dinia, we have to…” He stopped as he saw the wonderful sight in front of him, Dinia was on a bikini, her breast almost out of the bra, “wha… What are you doing?” Aza stuttered, “how do I look on this ehmm… Bikini?” She asked, “you.. You look… Wonderful” Aza replied, “you like what you see?” Dinia asked as she approached him.

“Wow! How did you know all these?” Aza asked Dinia as they laid on the bed, both naked and in each other’s arms, “barely two days on earth and you could give a b*****b and know some s*x styles, you were pretty hot.” He commented, “well as a demon we have the ability to multitask and also learn fast, so I got some pornographic materials and watched some” she replied smiling, “and you too were hot, strong and sweet too”, “was I?” Aza asked, “Yes” she replied as they both engaged into another hot kiss session

 Just then a knock at the door, “are you guys done lusting?” Elias voice came from the door. The two beings laughed, “I’m coming” Aza answered as he stood up from the bed, “you better get dressed” he said to Dinia who was still lying down, “I need more” she said with a sexy smile, “let’s meet Elias, remember your appointment with him?” Aza said as he took a robe from the closet, throwing one to Dinia, “get dressed” he said.

    Elias who was sitting in the sitting room with a glass of peach wine in his hands, sipped the content slowly, “Please sit” he said as Aza and Dinia made their way to a nearby couch facing Elias. “Who is she?” Elias asked pointing a finger to her. “You won’t believe if I told you but please don’t freak out” Aza replied, “freak out? Common I can’t freak out on a p********e” Elias said relaxing on the couch. “I’m not a p********e” Dinia said angry.

 Aza tapped her lap softly, calming her down. “Who is she? I ask for the last time” Elias said, drinking all the content in the cup. “Just don’t freak out when I tell you okay?” Aza replied as be looked at Dinia who inhaled and nodded her head for Aza to continue. Elias poured more of the peach wine from the wine bottle and relaxed again, “I’m listening”. 

“She’s Dinia a demon” Aza said, Elias almost shocked as he poured some of the wine in his mouth to the ground. “What the hell!’ He exclaimed, sitting up, “calm down Elias” Aza said, “she’s a friend”. This made Elias get up on his feet, “a friend? Aza no demon is a friend any longer, they’re all threats to our existence” Elias pointed out, “true but she’s exceptional, she’s a friend” Aza said. “Off course” Elias laughed, “why won’t she be a friend when you just had s*x with her”, “ I came to help” Dinia said standing up and walking towards Elias, “I was the one that helped Aza escape and I’m here because I know what you’re doing is right and is the best thing to do. I believe in you” she said.
