Chapter 47

CHAPTER FORY-SEVEN

At that moment, Something flew over Aza and Dinia where they stood and towards Lilith and before she could get a sight of what was coming towards her she got hit at her face.

Staggering a little, Lilith managed to regain her balance and turning to look at the object that faced her, she saw Elias, standing in front of her with folded fists. Fist flew through the air and landed on her face twice, one at each side of the cheeks and with a kick, she flew, landing with her back on the ground.

Aza and Dinia ran with super Sonic speed to where Elias stood, ‘it’s my turn” Dinia said to him smiling. “She’s all yours” Elias replied and Dinia ran towards Lilith.

Lilith who was still struggling to get on her feet was met by Dinia. Grabbing her long her with one hand, she raised Lilith off the ground and with the other fed her stomach with repeated blows before dropping her to the ground. “Where is Rebecca?” Dinia asked, “I will never tell you” Lilith replied in pains.

“I know you will say that” Dinia said, grabbing her hair and dragging her on the floor towards Elias and Aza. Lilith screamed, trying to get off the hands that held her hair. On getting to a few feet from where the two men stood, she ent down and whispered into Lilith’s ear, “I love to hear screams, will you scream for me?” and with that she lifted Lilith off the ground and threw her towards Aza like a loaf of bread.

Aza ran towards the Lilith and in mid air, he threw his fist at her, driving her to the ground. She landed with a great thud and groans, “please have mercy on me” she pleaded. “Where is Rebecca?” Dinia asked, “she’s on earth, in an abandoned factory close to a construction site near your company Elias” Lilith replied.

“How do you know you are not lying Lilith?” Elias asked with raised eyebrow. By this time the trio was standing over Lilith looking down at her as she laid on the ground.

Lilith did not answer him, but stretched her hands and a portal leading to the factory opened. There sat Rebecca. “This could be a sort of illusion” Dinia pointed out, “it isn’t I swear” Lilith replied sobbing. “You are coming with us” Elias said as he picked her up, leading her to the portal.

Rowland walked hopelessly towards his car. He had just checked on Rebecca and Dinia at home but couldn’t find anyone. The neighbors told him they say them leave the house together early that morning. He didn’t know what to do and he wished for death. “Rose was taking from me and now Rebecca” he thought as he sat down on the ground beside his car, lamenting.

Just then He heard, “daddy”. “my Rebecca is gone, now I can hear her voice”. “daddy” the voice called again. This time he turned and saw Rebecca running towards him. “Baby!” he exclaimed, standing up and spreading his arms for a hug. Rebecca ran into the open arms and hugged her dad so tight, “I miss you daddy” she said.

Dinia, Aza and Elias came, “We’re sorry for loosing her” Dinia said after they had hugged each other. Rowland looked relieved, he needed explanation and so he asked, “what happened? How did you loose her?” “Let’s get inside, we will explain to you everything, leaving no stone unturned” Elias replied him tapping his shoulders lightly.

Meanwhile at Lilith’s coven, she sat on her throne exhausted, still recovering from her loss when Lucifer appeared. “I can see you got your ass beaten too” he said, “I warned you not to make a move but you are always in an unseen battle with me over superiority”. “Did you come to mock me Lucifer?” she asked in between breaths, “I came to tend to your wounds my wife” Lucifer replied laughing.

“I don’t know what happened, how did they suddenly get their powers here” she said as Lucifer sat close to her and listened. “I planned everything, every detail was well noted. I even smelt their powerlessness when they got here just to make sure they where not hiding anything but it is still a mystery to me” she lamented.

“We have both shared in a shameful loss and we cannot do anything about it my love. I didn’t want you to feel this way but you insisted on fighting my battles. I’m sorry Lilith.” Lucifer consoled her, rubbing her back softly.

“It’s not over Lucifer, I will have my revenge and will take them out one by one” Lilith said as anger was heard in her voice. “No Lilith please do not, let it go please. Learn from my mistake. I suffered a great loss because I wanted to get back at them. My generals are all dead, including Reckon. I have no one to lead my army at the day of Armageddon.” Lucifer said.

“Please just let the sleeping dog lie” he added. “You know before you said this that I will disagree but you still opened your mouth and spoke words you do not believe I will heed” Lilith replied, scoffing before she continued, “you attacks them twice, then let me do the same. And this time it will be bloodier than ever” she threatened.

“Since your heart is set for this then I cannot stop you but first your wounds will have to heal” Lucifer advised. “Yes you are right, they have to” she agreed resting her head in his shoulder.

“What! Lilith!!” Rowland explained after he had heard their story, “you mean the wife of Lucifer?” he asked, “you know about her?” Aza asked. “Through books, yes I know and I thought they were all myths, imaginations of man” Rowland replied. “So how did you guys get out of her coven?” he asked them.

“After beating her, she showed us where Rebecca was but we were scared to turn out back at her, Lilith can do anything and also scared of being deceived by her, who knows where the portal would take us, so Elias made her come with us” Dinia explained, “and it was true, we found Rebecca at that old factory and then Aza tossed her back into her portal.”

“I’m glad you guys came back alive and nothing happened to my daughter” Rowland said, “don’t you think this calls for a celebration?” he asked. “No it doesn’t” Elias answered, “Lilith is just like Lucifer, she will come back for a rematch. We do not have to be careless anymore”.

“You are right” Aza said agreeing, “we need to stick together just as Raphael told us to. I have a feeling this won’t be the last”. “I hope after this, we all have to love our lives in the ordinary” Rowland wished, “me too” Dinia replied smiling.
