Chapter 15 The warehouse was surrounded. Min Yoon-gi stood outside, his expression unreadable, his fingers tightening around the gun in his hand. His men were in position—silent, deadly, waiting for his command. Inside that building, Seo Yuan was waiting. Afraid. Hurt. Alone. And for that, they would all die. Namjoon’s voice crackled through his earpiece. "They’ve got at least fifteen men guarding the place. Heavily armed." Yoon-gi’s jaw clenched. "Not for long." Jungkook, crouched beside him, checked his rifle. "No negotiations?" Yoon-gi’s eyes were cold, dark. "No survivors." --- Inside the Warehouse Seo Yuan winced as the ropes dug deeper into her wrists. Dae-hyun was still toying with his knife, dragging the blunt edge along her skin, smirking. "I wonder how much pain it’ll take for him to snap." Then— BOOM. The entire building shook. Gunfire erupted outside, loud and relentless. Dae-hyun’s men scrambled for their weapons. Seo Yuan’s heart leapt. He’s here. Dae-hyun cursed under his breath. "Tch. That was faster than I expected." He grabbed her by the arm, yanking her up. "Change of plans, sweetheart. If I can’t break him, I’ll just make sure he never sees you again." He pulled out a gun, pressing it against her side. Seo Yuan refused to panic. Yoon-gi will come. He always does. --- Outside: A Storm Unleashed Yoon-gi moved like a shadow, cutting through Dae-hyun’s men with merciless precision. A bullet grazed his arm—he didn’t flinch. A man lunged at him—he put a bullet between his eyes. His world had narrowed down to one thing: Getting to her. He stormed through the main door, taking down the last guard. Blood splattered across his shirt, but his mind was only on her. And then— He saw her. Seo Yuan. Bound, bruised, with a gun pressed to her side. Dae-hyun grinned. "Took you long enough." Yoon-gi didn’t hesitate. Bang. One shot. Straight through Dae-hyun’s leg. He collapsed with a snarl, his grip on the gun faltering. Seo Yuan shoved him away. And in the next breath—Yoon-gi was there. He caught her before she could fall, his arms locking around her like he was afraid she’d disappear. "I’ve got you." Seo Yuan clutched his shirt, shaking. "I knew you’d come." He cupped her face, scanning her for injuries, his eyes burning with fury. "I’m going to kill him." Dae-hyun groaned from the ground, laughing through the pain. "You can kill me, Min Yoon-gi. But this isn’t over." Yoon-gi smirked. "You’re right." Bang. A single bullet. Right between the eyes. Now, it was over. He turned back to Seo Yuan, his expression softening. "Let’s go home." She nodded, letting herself sink into his embrace. Because no matter what happened, she knew one thing for certain— Yoon-gi would always find her. No matter what it took. ---
