"Good morning sir". "Hello there Mr. J. Did you have a good night's sleep last night? " asked Hector to his chauffeur. "Why, yes of course Sir. I have the best boss in the world that is why every night I sleep better and look forward to another tomorrow with you sir". Hector laughed so loud as he close the car door. "How much? How much raise do you want to have?", Hector jokingly asked Mr. J and they both were laughing now as they drove off to Ellie's Super Mall.
It's been three long days since Ellena started working at Ellie's and until now she hasn't gotten any clue about what happened to her sister in the mall two years ago. " I can't even snoop around because of the heavy workload. I have to get things done as soon as possible. I have to get out of here asap", Ellena was talking to herself while going up the stairs. She's a good 45 minutes early and she wanted to use the time to go around the mall for clues she hopes to find. "Ah, I almost forgot about the paper. I have to talk to Miss M". Ellena then went straight to the administration office to go see her supervisor. All of the staff in the administration office were so busy. Screaming and yelling can be heard even outside the hallway. It's like World War III in there, she thought. "Excuse me, where's Miss M? " she asked the lady standing in front of the office door. "That's the problem here, she's gone. She left her resignation table on her desk. I don't know the whole story, I was just eavesdropping really. Go ask them yourself. It's too early for me to meddle in other people's business", she told Ellena with a smirk on her face.
Miss Stella Martinez or Miss M, was first a cashier at Ellie's when she started working. She was so determined and good at her work that in less than a year she was already a candidate for a supervisor position. Everyone was completely shocked this morning. No one knew she could just pack her bags and leave. She loved working at Ellie's. In fact, she always tell all her colleagues, and all her trainees, how she would grow old working at the super mall. "People here are the best people in the world. They gave an ordinary girl like me the chance of a lifetime and I would never ever trade working her for anything else", she was quoted saying to everyone. "So how in the world would she leave? What happened to her that made her changed her mind and stop working at the very same place she loved and adored for so long", Ellena thought.
