As I opened the door at the end of the hallway, I was shocked to see her, on the floor, lifeless and covered with blood. I saw him, her, I don't know. I think I saw a face, a man, a woman, standing beside her, holding something very sharp. A knife? A steel pipe? I don't remember. Why can't I remember?
"Riiiiinggggg!" Sounded the alarm on her outdated phone. She immediately opened her eyes and sighed in relief. "It was just a dream", she murmured to herself. She has been having nightmares for so long, she couldn't figure out what is real and what is not.
It's 7:00 o'clock am, time for her to get up and do all the stuff she needs to do before going to work. "This day, I hope I may be able to uncover the truth." "I am brave and I am ready to know everything. Wait and see my beloved Ellie, I'll give you the peace you have been longing to have for the past two years."
"Pick me up at exactly 4:00 o'clock here". "Yes, sir". A man in his late thirties, hurried out of a blue mustang, shiny and bright from the glare of the sun. It was no other than Hector or should I say Sir Hector dela Fuellie, the only son of the dela Fuellie clan, the wealthiest family and owners of almost all the posh department stores in town. He just finished attending to a very important meeting and is now on his way to make rounds at Ellie's, the largest mall in town. The one he owns and loves dearely. The very same place that makes him remember the joy and pain of his he met his one true love.
He walked through the main entrance and everyone couldn't help but to glance at him. Dressed in white top and a slim fit denim jeans. His only accessory were his gold plated spectacles and his rosy lips and sweet smile. Hector was just doing the same things he does every single day at Ellie's. Check all the shops, chat with just about everyone, and then stare at the elevator on the west wing, and go home.
Little did he know that in that same elevator on the west wing, he will meet the one he is meant to be with for the rest of his life.
Ellena was rushing through the main entrance, with wet and messy hair, holding a bag on her right hand and folders on her left hand. "Coming through!" "Excuse me!" "Make some way please!" She was heard saying among the crowd. You see it is her first day of work and she could not be late, not today of all the days of the week. She wanted so bad to be early so she could put on a good impression to her new boss. Deep down inside she wanted to be close enough to all the staff in her department so she can snoop around on anything they may know about her sister.
"Tick", sounded the bundy clock. Only five more minutes, Ellena could have been late on her first day. "Thank God", she said.
