Asked the sweating Lugvies and Garlu which echoed in the wide closed hall, after listening to the narration given by Mordo regarding their match and the abilities Calix had exhibited, the elders without the eyes of plegia along with the dukes who watched and did not watch the match were clueless at the immense mana reserve Calix have, those who witnessed the match we’re not able to perceive the mana flowing through the magic circles Calix had drawn on himself, thus they were equally clueless of the impossibility of such feat and is surprised

“That is indeed the truth”

“Unbelievable your majesty, to execute such thing you’d need a mana those of a hundred thousand maybe even millions of demons, I’d request trying some magic formation with him”

Said Garlu with disturbances to his voice, Garlu is an alchemist, an expert at magic formation and the uses of mana, he was shocked but at the same time excited at this news, he immediately wanted to try countless magic with Calix and is already quivering at the intense excitement,

“That…that is truly wonderful your majesty, it would be a pleasure to have match with him”

Chimed Lugvies, who had a wide smile on her, a beet red face and is already gripping the cutlass on her waist,

The dukes were excited at this news and are saying frightening things to which gave Mordo, Farrah, Brion and Alec shivers and the need to pat Calix and tell him to,

Said the King when he noticed that the fact about Calix had been accepted by the Dukes,

“Your majesty, does this discussion include the plan for the demon world”

Asked Zeroth, he couldn’t care less of the appearance of a new Grandif or its strength, what he wanted to know was how the demon world progresses from now on that every single demon had lost their Entha, the previous jobs are surely to be abolished and would change to suit the King’s plan, this had been a suggestion of one of the contract holders from the earlier brainstorming that took place at his duchy, though it was purely out of the assumption that the demon would abide by the rough plan Calix had blurted out,

“That is so but there is no such concrete plan for the demon world, as even I your King is as clueless as you are as to where or what the demon world is supposed to do… I too have lost my Entha”

said the King with his head hanging, there’s no big difference anyway, his Entha was to oversee the demon world and to give ease to the demons, he was not someone who conversed with Azam’s will or someone who interprets the demon overlords intent, he is merely a symbol to give demons a peace of mind, and every progress that had happened until now was thanks to the demons who were just like him that had abided by their Entha, but now that Entha had disappeared, even him the demon king is as lost as the demons seeking answers from him,

The demon king's words weighed heavily on everyone in the room, and there was a deafening silence that followed; everyone was busy digesting what the king had said, and their thoughts were looped and disoriented; the dukes who had been given orders the last time happily complied with their king's wishes, assuming that their king still had his Entha and had all going according to plan,

"But fear not, Azam's subject, I did not summon you here to simply frighten you, but to sincerely open a discussion on what we should do now, I have selfishly given you orders last time, and I apologize for that impulsiveness because I was also disoriented and is frightened, that said, I Lucifer Heave Morningstar strongly suggest that we place our hope in Calix."

Said the king, admitting his weakness, but emphasized that he would still be supporting Calix, the dukes were no better they had simply relied on their king and had never even gave a thought of what is best for the demon world,

“Understood your majesty I Areath De Val would also put such hope in my son”

“Understood your majesty I Mordo Heave would agree to do the same”

“Understood your majesty, I Farrah Heave agree with you decision

And so followed the others reciting the same words as those of Areath while kneeling that of a Knight’s kneel. The demon world don’t have the practice of kneeling before their king but Areath had felt what it’s like for someone to kneel before you and genuinely give you their loyalty, this he had seen on Calix on numerous times, He wasn’t sure if the others had the same thought as they followed what he had done but this action of his is a genuine result of pronouncing his loyalty, taken aback by the sudden kneeling the king paused for a brief moment before continuing,

“Then it is decided, form this day onward we would be supporting Calix and decisions shall be approved in votes of majority”

Announced the king, it was better to have a majority of votes that is to keep options open and flowing, he believed that countless people thinking is better than him thinking alone and the dukes simply executing without sharing a thought of their own which had happened earlier,

“Your majesty no need to go such lengths”

Said Zeroth, as he believed that progress would be much faster if the king simply gave order, rather than wasting time on writing down options and voting, it was an unconditional form of loyalty but such way would be ineffective considering that they be tackling a situation far from what they were used to,

“That I cannot agree, simply I am just any demon now with strength and that is all there is to it, I need everyone’s thoughts and ideas for a better understanding of how the demon world would work from now on”,

Replied the King, as he turned his head sideways in disagreement, he could not burden the demons with a decision that solely rely on his abilities,

“But your majesty that would surely waste time”

“It is not a waste of time Zeroth, what’s best for the demon world wouldn’t always come from me, we may have lost our Entha but the love for our lord and the world he had given us still remains strong, thus I hope we continue to do what we had been doing as far and strive for the betterment of the demon world”

“Understood your majesty”

Replied Zeroth, it was the truth he may have lost his Entha but the love for the one they revere remains strong for him, that said it was better if all demons thought the same,
