Mandy was asleep. Jack felt he had slept enough, it was close to midnight, and he fancied a cup of tea. Wilf was asleep on the settee. Jackie had Michael and Winders' room. Jack felt remarkably well, enjoying a laugh with Jimbo when the phone interrupted. Jack leaned back, looked at the clock on the wall in the kitchen, ‘Odd?’ He answered the call, listened, ‘Calm down, Nobby,’ Jimbo could hear, Nobby was shouting. ‘Jimbo and I’ll be there, have you called this into Jo Jums? He listened, ‘Well do that now. We’ll meet you at the main road turn off for the warehouses, whatever happens, don’t go in on your own, got that.’
He hung up, looked at Jimbo, thought for a minute, ‘Get hold of Mike and tell him we may need a bit of armed back up.’ He described the situation to Jimbo, leapt up
