Chapter One
I sat in my seat, boredom taking over me. I always liked to have a good laugh at the humans, vampires, and werewolves for having to sit and listen to lectures all day. But here I am, listening to my dear aunt lecture about being a good guardian
There were only a few of us, being a guardian was one of the rarest of ranks. Each angel was assigned to a werewolf, hybrid, or vampire to be their personal other-whole. While the guardians, are assigned to protect and watch over a creature.
I wished to be like the others. I always heard how fun it is to be able to meet your other whole. But I was born a guardian.
I barely listened to the lecture, I don't even know why we need it. I already know all of this.
-humans are rare to have, we barely have a care for them. But they are the hardest to guard, because they are so clumsy and weak. We almost Never get assigned to 'hunters' they are dangerous...
I scoffed, humans can't be that bad. They just don't have the advantage of the other creatures.
-we mostly guard those who haven't yet reached their powers. So we start out with babies and watch them grow day by day...
A baby? And what happens when they still can't find their inner strength or power? I had so many questions. Like, why isn't every angel a guardian? Why can't guardians have another whole? Most importantly, why can't we mate other creatures? Even inner wolves can.
"Ezra? Why is dangerous to cling to your human?" My head perked up "Because we might fall in love"
She nodded and carried on. My last question is yet to be answered or even questioned. Who is the Exception Angel?
