Chapter One
When Angels and Demon had access to carry out their activities on earth, a young woman met and fell in love with the Angel of Light. Their relationship was ill-fated, they weren't meant to be.
An Angel and a Human will only make things complicated for the spiritual realm. However, the period of the Angel's assignment on Earth quickly went by, and he was required to report back. The human was already bearing his child by that time. The spiritual beings were not ready to accept this child. They would rather kill the mixed blood.
On the day Anna was born, the heavens closed up on Ashlem. As a punishment for defiling authorities, Ashlem was sent to hell, locked away in the tower of condemnation. Demons were also banned from roaming the earth. This new law was unfavorable to Lucifer, Ashlem's child was the only way to avert their punishment.

"Have you heard the popular holy book tale? I guess you haven't. The woman who got stuck with a jealous demon. The demon killed twelve of her husband. He wanted all of her to himself, and as such, any man who gets close to love her must die..... He is called ASMODEUS the lustful demon. Watch out, my dear. He may be by your side." Little Anna quaked with fear, sweat running down her pale face. The woman laughed loudly, "What? Are you already scared?"
"Mammah, he must be a scary one to behold" She muttered.
"Of course, anyone who is capable of killing is ruthless and scary"
"But a demon shouldn't live on Earth; I read in the holy book that they stay in hell," She protested innocently.
"They indeed stay in hell, but it is also true that they roam around the earth looking for who to devour." The older woman stressed the last word as such that it created a horrible imagination in the little girl's head.
"Mammah, humans are not supposed to encounter them, right? Especially a woman.
The woman smiled and patted her head gently, "No, my dear, It doesn't work that way; you can't be so sure you won't meet a demon at least once or twice in your life."
The wind howled haughtily outside, blowing the curtains across the corner of the room. Then came a creak sound from outside, making the young girl jump in fear. The lighted candles were striving hard to keep the room lit, but one could see the vain of their struggle as darkness crept in.
"Mammah!" Anna clutched her hand tightly on the older woman's dress.
"Perhaps, this may be Asmodeus saying hello to little Anna." She teased the little girl's fear.
"No, mama I don't want to meet him." She shut her eyes tightly. The room went into total silence. The door flung open. Anna's heart was left hanging in her throat until she heard the familiar brazen voice.
"Mother, you shouldn't be telling her such stories as this, in the night. It might scare her to death." Anna knew who it was immediately. "Father, she mumbled slowly, with her eyes still shut tightly. Strands of tears fell down her cheeks.
"Yes, baby. It is me Anna. Open up your eyes." He said to her subtly.
Michael carefully tucked Anna in bed and sang softly to Wade off her fears. Her breathing settled a bit, he could confirm that she was already asleep. "Mother, it is not right, she is too young to handle it."
"She will eventually learn of the truth one day, it might break her down if she is too oblivious to her reality."
The adult thought Anna had fallen asleep, but there was no way she could sleep without her mind wandering back to the story Grandma had told her. As she grew up she noticed the tiniest activities of the older woman. She would stay with her till late, although she never brought up the story of the jealous demon again.
Whenever she noticed Anna had fallen asleep, she would creep towards the window, open it up, and whisper vigorously, "Let the little girl be; you wanted her mother, not her." She speaks out like she is having a dialogue with someone invisible. "Her mother is gone; I won't let you have her too," Marina argued with herself until she was tired and broke into the sadness of her tears.
Anna could hear her slow sobbing until her eyes failed her. Father might appear sweet, but the sadness and gloominess under his eyes whenever he stared at her could not be hidden from the little girl. Other times, Anna thought he hated her.
One day, he left without saying a word; he left her and Mamah. Anna could still remember the expression he carried when he left home that rainy day. Maybe she was the reason why her mother died, but no one will mention her mother, not even the circumstances that led to her death.
Anna grew up with much curiosity: who was Grandma always talking to by her window? Why did the person want her? What happened to mother? These questions keep churning her inside.
It seems like the older she grew the more worried and restless the old woman was. "You shouldn't sleep in the dark, make sure to keep the candles lighted." She will always remind Anna before going to bed.
She ran mad once Anna forgot to burn the incense she got for her. "You shouldn't be careless with kinds of stuff like this, young lady. It is for your good. It'll help Wade off evil spirit." She nagged.

"Brother, it must be so rough on you; being a high-ranked angel, you have enjoyed the peaceful serenity of Heaven compared to the noise of agonies this place produced. I got used to it thousands of years ago. You spend all your days staring down from this high tower. Do you miss your former atmosphere?" Lucifer spoke, his voice full of mischief and malicious intent.
Ashlem continued to stare into the smoke puffing out from the pit below the tower. Lucifer's words seem to not affect him. Lucifer cleared his throat noisily to be sure Ashlem noticed his presence, he strolled and came to stand right where Ashlem was seated with his leg crossed.
"I perceived the reason you spend all your days staring down into that pit is probably because you think she may be down there," Lucifer thought his statement did some magic as he noticed a pause in Ashlem's gaze, there was always a tinge of aloofness in his eyes, his cold gaze and straight face were means of shutting himself up from the things around him, but just now his apathetic brows relaxed a bit, a twitch on his numbed lips, but his expression continued to remain Hollow.
Seeing this, Lucifer chuckled slightly, "I may be right, but even I can tell that she isn't down there, so where could she be? Do you think she will be on Earth? Even you wouldn't know, but I doubt the supreme authority will let her be. You should know better since you gave her part of yourself the moment you mated with her which makes her a different being. Even I am curious as to where she is and what she might have turned to; your daughter is also a a.mixed breed; you have made quite the mess, Brother."
Ashlem went back to being straight, he didn't turn or say a word to Lucifer,
"I have waited patiently for too long; don't you think it is about time you give out the one ability only you possess? You own the secret gateway to access the Earth's realm. Allow me to meet your child; she is the only way we can avert our punishment."
"Do not touch her!" Ashlem finally spoke a word.
"I am glad you finally said something; I should have known better; the woman and your child were the only way to break your iced heart." Lucifer laughed hysterically, "Do not worry, nothing much will happen to her; I only need the gateway since you won't be needing it much anyway." Lucifer said and burst into a heavy laugh that echoed through the wall of the tower even after he dissipated into the darkness.
The Tower where Ashlem has confined Pierce's the smoldering skies of hell like a jagged splinter. Its black stone wall seems to absorb the faint eerie glow of the hellish landscape. The tower's surface is scarred and pockmarked as if the very rock itself has been ravaged by the tormented souls within.
The tower was heavily guarded and surrounded by the guardians, an elite legion of demons breathing out smoke; they had scaly skin, their eyes glowing embers of malevolent intent, burning red like a furnace, with horns twisted and blackened that curved from their forehead.
They have tattered bat-like wings that appear to be stitched together from shadowy, ethereal fabrics.
They communicate through a series of guttural growls and clicks, their language like the cracking of hellish whips.
These formidable guardians ensure that Ashlem remains imprisoned within the Tower of Eternal Damnation.
A bat soared through the smoldering skies towards the guardians its wings beat with an otherworldly rhythm. Suddenly, it halted mid-air, and its body began to contort and stretch. The wings dissolved into wispy tendrils of smoke, which then coalesced into human limbs. The bat's sleek fur transformed into smooth, bronzed skin.
Kayl's facial features materialized, chiseled, and striking. His eyes gleamed like polished onyx, radiating an inner intensity. His raven-black hair cascaded down his back, framing his angular face. His full lips curled into a confident smirk.
Kayl's presence exuded an irresistible aura of power and charisma. His dark, fitted attire seemed woven from the very shadows themselves, accentuating his physique.
As Kayl descended onto the tower's entrance, the guardians turned to face him. Gorthok, the lead guardian, sneered.
"No one except the keeper is allowed here, You dare challenge our authority, Kayl?" Gorthok growled.
Kayl smiled, his eyes flashing with inner fire.
"I've come to see my master," Kayl declared, his voice low and commanding. "You know you can't stop me."
"You and your master have one annoying attitude in common, and that is defiling orders." Gorthok howled.
The air seemed to vibrate with tension as Kayl's presence clashed with the demonic energy surrounding the tower. The guardians snarled, baring their teeth.
Vraxxis, one of the guardians, stepped forward.
"We'll enjoy watching you burn, Kayl," Vraxxis spat.
Kayl chuckled, his eyes glinting with amusement.
"Your threats are... amusing," Kayl said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "There is one thing I do not have in common with my master, Patience, I lack one. Let's end this. My patience wears thin"
With a fluid motion, Kayl drew a dark, crystal-tipped dagger from his belt. The blade pulsed with an inner glow; in a flash, he brought down all the guardians in one swift blow and made his way into the tower.
