Chapter 8: Home Sweet Home Albert Pachelbel’s “Canon” was playing through the speakers hooked to Neil’s phone when Albert entered the apartment. He stopped short, and a smile spread across his face as he gaped at the outside wall where the one homey plant he’d purchased yesterday had multiplied into a trio of plants, plus a couple indoor trees. Those larger plants stood to the outside of the two windows, and between them, an airy structure held the other three pots. Albert drew in a deep breath. That many plants in this enclosed space made more of an impact on the air quality than the single plant had done, but the soothing aesthetic effect of the wall of greenery was every bit as notable.
