Samantha's POV
"Who is the father? Huh?" He asked, seeming more bold now and that was when I realized I had messed up. Since I stayed in the Alpha's court, Adrain wasn't exposed to other members of the pack as his movement was limited within here and even if rumours spread beyond here no one would take it seriously until they saw for themselves and for fear that they'd be punished for misinformation and trying to tarnish the image of the royal family.
I had totally forgotten and gave myself away to Jack, who obviously only heard rumours and now, there was no telling what he'd do with this confirmation. I couldn't answer that question, even Julian couldn't threaten him at this point.
I shouldn't have said anything to Jack, but I fell right into his trap.
