Samantha's Pov
"You're not going to say anything?" She asked, she didn't look the least remorseful and it almost made me resent her again.
"What am I supposed to say? That it's all good, that I've forgiven and forgotten?" I asked, my voice firm.
Lily chuckled, dismissing my words with it. "Come on Samantha, we were kids then."
"Yea, right? You were sixteen Lily." I called her out on it.
"Still... It was all in the past." The way she said it, like it was so easy. She disgusted me. Lily had started bullying me since we were sixteen and it got worse when we turned seventeen.
"To you." I said. Lily looked shocked and it got me wondering. Did she think it was that easy to forget the people who hurt you?
I was being good enough to not want revenge on her or Ric. She should be grateful.
