Alaric's POV
"I heard there was an intruder in my lab...." Came the voice of the person I had suspected it to be.
" Adams!" Samantha yelled, her eyes gleaming with excitement as she saw Doctor Adams.
" ... So I came to see who dared to and it's you Samantha." The curly grey haired old man said spreading his arms as Samantha ran into them. I watched the two hug and even though it was a harmless hug, my body shook slightly, I felt my chest sting as anger boiled from within me.
It annoyed me to see Adams holding her so close.
Damn it Alaric! What's gotten into you?
I yelled at myself to stop with the emotion but I was barely stopping myself from flinging Doctor Adams across the room.
" I thought you were supposed to be on a research project." Samantha said once they broke the hug.
