Adrian took the news better than I had expected. He claimed that he had always suspected it, especially because we both had the exact same eyes, and that everyone around him pointed it out, but knowing his mum didn't like me, he decided not to talk about it with her.
What touched me the most was the excited scream Adrian had made when we revealed that I was his father. His one-word "Yes!" instantly warmed my heart. I had worried about bonding with him as father and son, but all my fears faded instantly.
