Chapter 43 Samantha's POV Just after I let my son go, I still held onto whatever I could while trying to focus on the ground in search of him, but I couldn't see him. My heart bled in unimaginable pain. If something bad ever happened to Adrian, what was the point in living? "Adrian!" I cried out to him, but the screams from people falling and getting injured were louder than my voice. I could barely hear myself. Deep down, I thought that I had lost my son.
