Alaric's POV
I had a meeting with the security council, and we discussed and brought suggestions on how to tighten our security and prepare for war. I assigned duties and appointed spies to our neighboring packs. If the rogues came from anywhere or went through anywhere, it had to be one of them.
I thought of Samantha more addictively. I craved to see her, so I went to her meeting when I was done.
When I got to the medical council hall, I had not expected to see her with Erin in such a tense situation. Erin seemed to be harassing her and my blood boiled from anger.
