Samantha's POV
I responded to the email, assuring them Adrian was doing great and the rogue situation was contained. I promised them they had no need to worry. There was no way I would send Adrian alone back to Arcana Hills, even with my friends there. No one could protect him from those monsters as fiercely as I could.
Today, I was attending the council meeting I had called regarding the rogue attacks. The council members were scheduled to discuss the path forward, and there was no time left to waste.
