Samantha's POV
"What's she doing here?" Lily said, fuming. "I'm asking, what are you doing here?" She yelled, breathing heavily as her eyes drifted from Alaric to me.
"I should be asking you that, Lily," Alaric said.
"What?" Her eyes bulged like she couldn't believe Alaric would say that to her. Had she forgotten they had broken up? "I'm the one who is your fiancée!" And I was right, she had forgotten.
"You seem to forget easily. I broke up with you, Lily," Alaric reminded her, but she shook her head as if in denial.
"It was just a misunderstanding. We are still very much together, or have you forgotten?" She said, and I knew exactly what she meant by that. She was reminding him of the marriage alliance.
"We are done, Lily," Alaric said firmly, and she squinted in shock.
