"You shouldn't flirt with pack members like that." I turned sharply to look at Alaric. He just spoke to me through the mind link and what did he even mean by that? He still looked annoyed but it was different from the kind of look he had given Kayson and Kennedy.
" I wasn't flirting." I defended and I heard him scoff. What did I care if he believed me. It was none of his concern.
"The lip twist, the unwavering gaze, the shyness in your body language. None of that was flirting?" His annoyance rolled off and I couldn't even describe my surprise at his questions.
I turned around to look at him one more time and he seemed very unapologetic. He had his head held up high, I shook my head in disbelieve. Why did I even need to explain myself?
