Lily stood inside at the door of the room, frightened and nervous. She tried to calm her fast breath but couldn't find herself doing so, she has never had to sleep with anyone not to talk of a total stranger. She had refused to go in the room but Nicole had pushed her forcefully in the room. Her mind flashed back to when Nicole was telling her she had to sleep with Peter Blackwell.
“I'm paying you to sleep with Peter Blackwell, the richest and youngest billionaire in California.” Nicole said, forcing a lip gloss on her lips. After lying to Lily that they were going to a party together and dressing her up like a beautiful doll.
“What? Why would I do that?” Lily snapped back at her angrily and shocked.
“Because he only sleeps with virgins. And you and I know you're still a virgin.” She said scornfully.
“You must be crazy to think I'd sleep with a man just for you. And besides, why can't you do it yourself?” Lily said. Her face tearing up a bit, she was scared, she knew turning her down would mean trouble for her. Nicole was the Reynolds’ family heiress and only daughter and would get her in trouble like she's always done in the past.
“I just told you he only sleeps with virgins. Are you so dumb to understand that? You have to sleep with him and trick him into marrying you as me. Do you understand that? Unless your mother will have to pay for your stupidity, I will make sure she doesn't get the transplant she needs to save her life. I'm sure you don't want that to happen.” She smiled evilly, her looks piercing like Lily every bit.
Lily swallowed her breath hard. She was the only way to save her mom, if she did anything stupid she'd lose her mom and she couldn't afford to do that. Her mom is the only family she has left.
“How do I do that? I've never even kissed a guy and you expect me to trick him to marry me?” She stuttered as she spoke. “How would somebody like him want someone like me? He's the richest bachelor in California and I'm only a maid and not his class. I'm sure he'd recognize that. Somebody like him wouldn't want to have anything to do with me.”
“You’re going to give Peter a good time and I'll give your mother the transplant she needs. I don't care how you do that, but you have to make sure he falls for you.” Nicole said firmly without giving a second thought and pushed her in the room.
__ __ __
The room was dark as Lily entered, she could see the figure of a man sitting on the couch, he looked like he was watching her from head to toe but she couldn't find his face in the dark of the room. She just stood like a statue not knowing what to do, her hands cold and sweaty. She wanted to open the door badly and run out of the room but she didn't find herself doing it, her mom's life was on the line. Suddenly she was his shadow walking up to her then she realized it was actually him. Peter Blackwell, without seeing his face she could feel the billionaire standing tall in the dimly lit room, his figure silhouetted against the faint glow of the city skyline through the floor-to-ceiling windows. His tailored suit clings to his athletic frame, the fine fabric catching the ambient light just enough to outline his broad shoulders and sharp jawline. His dark hair, perfectly styled, casts subtle shadows over his piercing eyes that gleam with a mix of desire and control.
His presence fills the space, magnetic and commanding, as he steps closer to her. Then he grabs her arms as he pulls her to the wall gently, her breath shallow, aware of the tension simmering between them. The air is thick with unspoken words as his gaze lingers on her, studying every curve, every movement she makes.
“Th.. This is a mistake.” She said, her voice shallow and weak.
He reaches out, his fingers brushing the back of her neck with a gentle, deliberate touch, sending a shiver down her spine. His voice is low, almost a whisper, dripping with seductive intent. "You smell so good," he murmurs, his lips hovering near her ear.
Lily held her breath tightly. “Don't you want to know my name?” She said more like a whisper releasing her breaths. “Shouldn't we atleast get to know each other?” Her voice becoming more shallow than ever. She was loving it already and didn't expect it to be this way.
His eyes, dark and intense, lock onto hers.
“I want you,” he whispers in her ears. “But only if you do.”
“Okay, but…”
He dips his lips in hers because she could finish talking, giving her a fleeting moment of control before his desire threatens to overpower them both. The room feels smaller, the walls closing in as the heat between them grows, their chemistry undeniable, teetering on the edge of something irresistible.
