“We should share a shower more often,” I wink at Caleb as I take his hand. “We can save water that way.”
“No, we won’t,” he laughs happily as we walk back to the living room. “We take twice as long when we’re together and therefore consume more water.”
“How does it feel?” I ask and smile mischievously when he looks at me confused. “You know, to always be right.”
“Liberating,” he grins as he motions to me to enter first.
I cry out in joy when I see Sonia and Tania. They run to me, and I gather them in my arms and hold them tightly.
“I’ve missed you guys,” I sniff as I battle the tears. “You got so big.”
“And pretty,” Tania says shamelessly, and Sonia bumps her shoulder.
“You’re not supposed to say it,” Sonia reprimands her.
“But it’s the truth,” I love as I hug them again.
