“Are you people insane?” I stare in shock from Harvey to Caleb. I am not sure what the hell is happening, but I did not expect this. I have hopped from nervous to angry to shock and disbelief. And now I am dizzy from the roller coaster ride.
“No,” Harvey’s eyes are cold and calculated when he looks at me. “We are taking one problem at a time and right now, Bradley is your biggest threat and we’re getting rid of him.”
“But my sister,” I protest and sit on the edge of my seat. “Do you have any idea what he would do to them?”
“They will be safe, I promise,” Caleb puts his hand on mine as he tells me the plan.
“No,” I jump up and start pacing. “It’s too risky for Amelia. I will not do it.”
